Down By The Water (Iris and Eric)
Iris was walking by the water, having felt drawn to it. She loved water, it was in her nature. She smiled thinking about all her time spend in the water. She often spent more time in water than land. It was the way she was. She was a siren. Sirens were water creatures.
She sighed thinking about her talk with Chase. She was alone sure she had a few friends but she had no one to love. That was one thing she had always wanted, but never in all her long years of life found someone to care for. She sighed as she sat by the waters edge. Was it too much to hope for someone mortal or not to love her.

Re: Down By The Water (Iris and Eric)
Eric was beginning to wonder if he ever was going to find someone within the year time period that his parents had set for him to find the young lady that he would one day call his wife. Being back from his trip to Germany Eric made his way to Willow lake for no one knew where he would meet the women of his dreams. For a reason that he could not explain he felt drawn to go down to the shore a place he rarely wandered because of the crowds.
But today there was none just a lady walking along the water's edge. Eric felt his heart skip a beat and wondered if this could possibly be the one he was searching for. He walked up beside her. However he could not make his mouth form any words so he just walked in silence trying to think of something to say.

Re: Down By The Water (Iris and Eric)
Iris sighed as she sat down. She needed to cheer up. She dipped her bear feet into the water. She had left her shoes on the other side of the lake. She could reach them very easily. She could simply walk around or swim across. She closed her eyes and enjoyed the feeling of having the water on her feet. She did not notice the other man on the waters edge.
Still needing to cheer up she began to sing. It was a simple song. She had learned when she was young. It was called the phoenix song, for it did what a phoenix does. It filled the good with hope and courage, and the evil with fear and doubt. She loved this song, it marked the character of the people. They old siren sat there, wishing that she could find someone. Someone she would age with, someone she could die with.

Re: Down By The Water (Iris and Eric)
Eric stood and listened to the lady sing he still was wondering if she was the one that he was searching for. He still was having trouble coming up with something to say to her which was weird because he was never shy and always had something to say. He closed his eyes willing himself to speak for he knew he must get her attention somehow.
"What is a beautiful young lady as yourself doing down here all alone?" He finally managed to find his voice but almost face palmed at what he had just asked that was not the way to start a conversation he knew better he was an Arch-Duke for crying outloud there was a better way to start a conversation.

Re: Down By The Water (Iris and Eric)
Iris looked at the young man and smiled softly. "Hello." She said smiling at him. She genitally patted the ground beside her to tell him if he wished he could sit beside her. She smiled softly at the complement and tucked her hair behind her ear. She was alone but still she was not interested in too much company. However this man seemed kind and calm. She wouldn't mind spending time with him.
"Well, I was just enjoying the water." She said smiling at him. "How about you good sir? What brings you down to the waters edge?" She asked him politely.
