First Years - Second Lesson Empty First Years - Second Lesson

Post by Richard Romain Mon Apr 30, 2012 10:10 pm

Richard was idly drumming his fingers against the wood of his desk but that happened to be the only indication that he was actually alive. He had gotten so bored in waiting for his class that he'd rested his head on the table so that he was staring at the woodwork. Then he'd brought his breathing under tight enough control that it appeared that he wasn't breathing at all.

Hence, the only sign of life was him drumming his fingers on the desk.

First Years - Second Lesson Empty Re: First Years - Second Lesson

Senium walked into the lesson, she looked around and realised that she was the first student into the room, although this lesson was with her Master so she didn't mind at all, she was glad to have some time before the lesson began for her to be able to talk to him.

Seeing that he looked hurt, Senium tried to walk swiftly up to the front desk and she gently tapped him on the shoulder, an anxious expression on her face;

"Master? Master Richard?" she asked.

First Years - Second Lesson Empty Re: First Years - Second Lesson

Cary walked into the room with a scowl on her face. She was in a bad mood. She had woken up too early this morning due to a nightmare where she had been chased up and down the quidditch pitch by a flock of scarecrows, looking back she thought it probably wasnt all that bad, but at the time she had been terrified, it wasnt her fault that her crazy aunt had bewitched a scarecrow to chase her around the garden when she was just 3.

Anyway Carly slipped into her seat and looked around the room. She saw the two ravenclaw girls already there, and also the professor. She hadnt noticed him at first as he was laying his head on the desk and had been since she entered the room "thats just what I feel like doing" Carly thought.

With that, Carly put her head into her hands and waited for the lesson to begin.

First Years - Second Lesson Empty Re: First Years - Second Lesson

Richard woke up properly with a small start and he looked around as he rubbed the sleep from his eyes. He smiled at his students slightly,

"Hey guys..." he yawned a little, "Didn't see you come in."

He yawned again before shaking his head to clear it, standing up as he did so. Taking out his wand, he flicked it downwards once,

"Corpus." he delcared clearly. A small line of wood appeared in the air where he'd flicked his wand, "Simple conjuration. Say the incantation, 'Corpus', and flick or slash your wand to direct where you want the wood to be conjured."

Carly memorised the incantation of the spell and flicked her wand in a random direction muttering "Corpus" after a couple of tries and nothing happening, she decided she needed to focus more. Pointing her wand in front of her she said "Corpus" and was excited to see a small slither of wood appear in front of her. Grinning Carly raised her wand to try again.

First Years - Second Lesson Empty Re: First Years - Second Lesson

Senium was going to show Master Richard just how good she was at transfiguration, she didn't think that he had seen her last lesson, so she wanted to make sure that he knew she was the right one to take on for a new apprentice position.

Nodding with a fierce expression on her face, which probably only looked cute as she furrowed her brow, Senium drew her wand and she said clearly;

"Corpus!" in a strong and demanding tone, and with that she jumped a little bit when a sliver of wood came flying out of her wand tip, and buried itself in the board, the other side to her Master.
