Second Year - Second Lesson Empty Second Year - Second Lesson

Post by Richard Romain Mon Apr 30, 2012 10:10 pm

Richard yawned a little bit as he sat behind his desk, happy to be teaching his class but at the same time wishing that he was doing something more exciting. After all, he was a strong wizard with knowledge of the Germany war machine. Why wasn't he at least advising on the war? He rubbed at his eyes and merely waited for his class to arrive.

Sam sighed and walked to her next class, Sam had remembered the last lesson and she shook the thoughts out of her mind and sighed she nodded to the professor and she sat in the very back.

Sam blinked and was glad she had decided to sit in the back it was much more darker than the rest she sighed and waited for the rest of the class to show up.

Second Year - Second Lesson Empty Transfiguration Classroom :: Second Year - Second Lesson

Post by Teresa Maria King Tue May 01, 2012 12:03 pm

Teresa was reading a book when she walked to class. She stopped when he accidentally hit the wall next to the door and fell. She quickly got up and rushed into the classroom, taking a seat near a window. She felt that sunshine would make her feel better.

She pulled out a small box of candy and took a peppermint out to eat. Candy always made her feel happy.

Second Year - Second Lesson Empty Re: Second Year - Second Lesson

Post by Richard Romain Thu May 03, 2012 3:38 am

Noticing some of the looks he was attracting, Richard decided that it was probably for the best if he didn't lament in class. Or lament at all to be honest. Rolling his shoulders, Richard moved to the front of the class,

"I'm sure you all remember the 'corpus' spell from the second lesson of your first year." he flicked his wand down and wood sprang up in the air along the path of his wand, "Relatively simple conjuration. But wood is kind of weak."

He moved to the board and wrote on it 'Vorpus'. Richard underlined the word twice,

"This spell is another simple conjuration spell but instead of conjuring wood it conjures tin. Vorpus." he flicked his wand and a thin layer of tin appeared instead of wood, "Now if you over-power this spell... Vorpus."

This time he put more magic than the spell required and a silver metal appeared, three inches thick,

"First though I want you to succeed in the first level of the spell before we continue."

Sam sighed and pulled her wand out she knew if she got this wrong, she was going to put even more shame to her family, Sam blinked and sighed.

" Vorpus" Sam said and she saw a thin layer of metal sighing she looked at the professor and she kept her head down 'I'm dead' she thought and she sighed and stared at her desk.

Second Year - Second Lesson Empty Re: Second Year - Second Lesson

Xander walked into class. Late again... If he didn't do something soon to get out of his funk he would be in big trouble.

Taking a seat near the back as the professor explained the spell, he took out his things, jotted down notes on the spell, and gave it a shot. He started out just saying the word, to get used to it, then put it with the wand movements.

After the first try a very thin piece of metal appeared. Happy to simply do the spell as instructed, he put down his wand and started thinking of what he could do to clear this cloud of gloom that seemed to be hanging about.
