First and Second Years Lesson Two

Since his last lesson didn't go as he had planned, he hoped that more kids came to this one instead of shirking off to do other things. Crossing his arms, he shook his head angrily. Honestly, these kids should know better than to try to avoid one of the most important classes in Hogwarts. Oh well. He figured he'd start with their project they should have gotten to before moving on to something else.

"Perhaps Devil's Snare versus a Flitterbloom bush," he murmured to himself, letting his arms relax at his sides before smiling slightly. "I think I've got some in the back too. This could be a lot of fun."

Alex sighed as she walked to her next class, she had remembered that no one showed up to the last lesson she sighed and gave the professor a small nod.

Alex gulped as she thought about her summer, she shook her head and wondered if anyone was going to show up she sighed and shrugged inwardly.

Dimitrius entered the greenhouse with a smile on his face. He really couldn't wait to get into Herbology. He had missed the last lesson, he knew, but he didn't want to do it again after all. He gave the teacher a smile and a nod, clutching his satchel tighter to his shoulder. He wondered what they were doing and if he would be able to draw some of the plants.

Mik appraised the two youths before him before looking out to see if anyone else was coming. It appeared that these two students were to be his only students for this lesson. No matter. At least they would get points for their houses, and sometimes, that was all that mattered to the kids. He managed a miniscule smile for the two students.

"Alright, I suppose we'll get started them. I am Mikhail Novikov, your Herbology Professor. You will always address me as Professor Novikov and nothing else. To start with, I want you both to come up here and choose a plant on this table." He said, pointing to the table next to him. "Go with your gut on this, not because the plant looks pretty. Once you've chosen your plant, go back to your seats."

Alex sighed and nodded to the professor and she went and grabbed a plant she had no idea what plant she picked she just grabbed one.

Alex walked back to her place and she sat the plant down and looked at the professor she wondered what they were going to learn Alex shrugged inwardly and looked at the verstand boy and gave him a small unnoticeable smile
