Lesson Two - First Years Empty Lesson Two - First Years

Post by Darcie Vane Tue May 01, 2012 6:33 pm

Darcie had hoped for a busier lesson this week, but she didn't think that she was going to get that, instead she hoped for at least someone who looked as if they were going to be able to look interested in what she was telling them long enough to fill up the lesson time.

It made her slightly sad that nobody seemed to care about her subject, and she hoped the maybe in the future she would be able to have many more successful seers pasing through her class and into the Ministry Prophecy Divisions.

Lesson Two - First Years Empty Re: Lesson Two - First Years

Post by Christielle van Gysel Tue May 01, 2012 11:21 pm

Christielle found the Soothsaying Classroom somewhere around the Fifth Floor. Christielle slowly enters the room and looks around. "Um, am I... am I too early or something? No one, er, seems to be around..." Christielle says. She walks across the room and sits on a chair right in front of the professor.

"That's weird. I'm really sure classes start at this time," Christielle thought. She was very eager to learn Soothsaying, although no one else seemed to be. "Maybe the others are in higher years."

Lesson Two - First Years Empty Re: Lesson Two - First Years

Darcie smiled lightly, she was really upset that there was only one student, but at least there was some turn out for the class, and she would make sure that this student really did enjoy themselves, as her lessons were the funnest that she could make them.

Leaving out the mostly boring disciplines of Divination for a moment, after all these would come for those who took it onto the older years in the school, if they were really serious about the classes.

"Welcome to Soothsaying! My name is Darcie, and I will be your professor, before we start today's topic of crystals and their magical properties, can you tell me any crystals that you think might have some sort of extra properties to them Miss...?" she asked with a happy smile.

Christielle sat there, listening as Lehrer Vane spoke. She found out that they were studying about crystals in this lesson. "Hm... crystals." She thought. She suddenly realized that the Lehrer finished speaking to her.

"Oh, um... van Gysel." Christielle replied. "What do I know about crystals with some extra properties...?" She thought. "I... um... don't really, er, know..." Christielle mumbled.

Darcie still kept her smile in place when she was told that she didn't know any crystals with magical properties, that wasn't a problem for her, she knew that she was going to be able to teach her something different that she would be able to take away with her from their lesson together.

"Oh don't worry at all, that's what I'm here for to teach you new things isn't it?" she asked with a smile "Here's an example, this is a rose quartz crystal, and this has the power of healing, it keeps people calm and happy."

Picking up another crystal she set it down in front of her student;

"Can you tell me what properties Jade might have?"

Christielle felt extremely relieved since she thought Lehrer Vane would get disappointed, or much worse, mad. She listened as the Lehrer gave an example, which was the rose quartz. She listened carefully to it's properties. As Lehrer Vane placed another crystal in front of her, she looked at it carefully.

As Lehrer Vane said, it was a Jade crystal. "Jade... jade..." Christielle thought. "Um... well, I think it provides peace... or something like that." Christielle said, and mumbled the last words. She wasn't very sure of her answers, but at least she would learn from here mistakes.

Christielle waited for Lehrer Vane to tell her whether her answer was wrong or not. She hoped her answer was right, since she already nearly got into trouble for not knowing the answers.
