Lesson 2, Third Years

[Sofia Slytherin]

Sofia had a busy week and was ready to have her third year class over with. She was very upset over the Anne ordeal and still had not talked to her yet.

This lesson was going to be on mercury, the first planet in the solar system. Now she just had to wait for the class to arrive so they could learn.

[Parker Emery]

As Parker walked into class his eyes were drawn down, seemingly glued to the floor. He slowly made his way to a seat away from the front, knowing he was the first one in the class.

He took his seat, resting his hands on the desk, starting at his hands as he ran his fingers over his knuckles as he waited for class to begin. He felt and looked withdrawn, and tired.

[Sofia Slytherin]

Sofia looked up when she heard the doors open and saw that it was Mr. Emery enter the classroom. She could tell that all of him was not there and she tried to give him a knowing smile. But she could tell he wasn't completely with her that day.

Sofia got up from her desk and wandered over to Mr. Emery,

"Hello Mr. Emery, remember you know where my office is, if you need someone to talk to that understands feel free to come to my office anytime."

Sofia could completely understand loss, she had been through it many times.
