Lesson 2, First Years

[Sofia Slytherin]

Sofia took her spot on the mat and began her mediation, everyone in her classes should know by now that is what is suppose to be done. It is really hard for Sofia to teach any classes especially this particular class, it was reasons like this she hated her power.

Sofia closed her eyes and did a few deep breathes and hoped time would go by fast.

Waiting for the students to come in and she hoped they would all smile and laugh and listen to her teachings.

Iola was excited for Divination, she seemed to have a bit of an affinity for it and was looking forward to developing her skills. As she walked into the classroom, she saw that none of the other students had arrived yet.
"Hello Professor." She smiled at the teacher as she sat in a seat.

Sofia heard one student come into class when she spoke to here.

"First thing in this class it is important to start with a good mediation. So upon entering class please have a seat and begin your mediation.." Sofia stated.

With divination you have to have a clear mind with this class.

Iola nodded and sat down and began meditating, letting her mind wonder to the one place where she was calm and relaxed. It was a part of her Forest home that only she'd found; a little hidden meadow with a small waterfall and warm pool of water. The wind rustling in the trees sounded like hundreds of soft voices, giving her a sense that nature and Mother Earth herself was around her. It was the one place she was able to meditate properly.

Sofia smiled as the new girl sat down. She could tell this girl was a elf, and wondered what she like to do for mediation back home.

"So Ms. Avalon, why don't you tell me your feelings about Divination?"
