Lesson 2, Third Years

[Sofia Slytherin]

Sofia took her spot on the mat and began her mediation, everyone in her classes should know by now that is what is suppose to be done. It is really hard for Sofia to teach any classes especially this particular class, it was reasons like this she hated her power.

Sofia closed her eyes and did a few deep breathes and hoped time would go by fast.

Waiting for the students to come in and she hoped they would all smile and laugh and listen to her teachings.

Haley walked into the Divination classroom with the same happy feeling she mostly always had upon entering the room. Her smile only widened when she saw her professor at the mat, meditating. She walked over and sat down, her bag placed next to her. She wondered what they'd learn today, knowing that whatever it was, it would be interesting. She smiled slightly before she let her thoughts drift away into nothingness, her breathing slowing peacefully down as well.

[Parker Emery]

Parker let out a deep sigh before walking into the class. This might be a good chance to just let himself relax, and let go the stress he was feeling. Just that deep breath seemed to help.

He quietly made his way in, feeling a little better at the familiar sight of the professor and Haley meditating. He sat down near her, setting his bag beside him. He lowered his head, closing his eyes. He took a few deep breathes but could not get into it. His mind was still just swimming around, completely restless...

[Sofia Slytherin]

Sofia could feel that Ms. Smith and Mr. Emery had arrived and had begun their personal mediation. Sofia could tell that Mr. Emery was having trouble calming her mind and she could tell.

"One finds that if too many things are on the mind, try to think of empty space. Keep telling yourself white empty space. I find sometimes when you mind continues to run this helps"

Sofia hoped this helped Mr. Emery.

"So what can anyone tell me what they know about the art of reading tea leaves."

[Haley Vilde Smith]

Haley smiled at the professor. "I don't know very much about it, but you make yourself some tea and drink it, and then read in the bottom of the cup what remains of the tea. It supposedly tells more of your life than what the future of the world is, so reading tea leaves is more personal," she said softly.

She wasn't a hundred percent sure of the last one, but she felt as if she had read that somewhere.

[Sofia Slytherin]

Sofia smiled at Ms. Smith, "That is very true. A person can find many things out about ones self when reading tea leaves."

Sofia was never one for tea leaves, but that didn't mean she didn't listen to things about them, she did have to teach them after all.

"Here is my tea cup, what can you see."

Sofia handed her tea cup that was sitting there to Ms. Smith to see what kind of things she noticed.
