Not trained for this (Cobalt and Raven)
Cobalt was out of his depth and he was not afraid to admit it. No matter what he tried he just couldn't figure out how best to handle the situation He had trained all of his exceedingly long life but he'd never trained for anything quite as bad as this. He'd immediately thought of trying to call for help, to get someone who knew what they were doing to help him out here.
Richard was busy, plus he'd been one half that had caused the problem in the first place.
Charlotte had run off to her friend's house.
He could have asked Briony but seeing as she'd left him in charge of this situation that wasn't likely to help.
After that he'd kind of run out of friends. It had been rather depressing actually. However he still had one unconventional ally to call upon. Getting down on his knees, he started the floo call,
"Raven! It's Cobalt! I'm at Philosopher's Close...!" he shouted through the fire, "This is a really shitty situation here and I need your help Raven!"

Re: Not trained for this (Cobalt and Raven)
Raven pouted lightly, she had just been settling down for a very nice evening in with Konig, after of course a rather adventurous afternoon with him, however, he understood that as soon as the call came through that she needed to go and do her duty as a GodMother.
Grabbing her leather corset and her ripped jeans Raven shoved them on and placed her hair up in a loose bun, picking up her machete and a razor she kissed Konig quickly on the cheek and immediately took the floo over to Philosophers Close to see what the problem was.
Stepping out of the grate she raised the machete with a blood thirsty look in her eyes as she glared around hoping to spot the intruder;
"What's the problem Cobalt, where's the f*ckers trying to harm Raven?"

Re: Not trained for this (Cobalt and Raven)
When he saw a friendly face, figuratively speaking of course, he breathed a sigh of relief and made his way over to Raven, carrying the precious cargo with him,
"Richard and Briony left me to hold down the fort but I just can't do it... I wasn't trained for... for... for that!" he held little baby Raven up in front of her godmother. She was crying. A lot. Cobalt was looking panicked, "She won't stop crying!"
He put the baby down in her cot again, causing her to cry louder, and Cobalt moved over to the adult Raven,
"You have got to help me!" he pointed at the baby, "I can't make her stop! I've tried feeding her and changing her but it's not working!"
He shook Raven lightly by the shoulder, staring into the woman's eyes,
"You know what to do right?"

Re: Not trained for this (Cobalt and Raven)
Raven almost sweatdropped when Cobalt held up a crying baby in front of her and she placed the machete back on the floor, it was something that she really hoped she did not have to learn how to do, but it seemed that she was going to have to act.
She was sure that even Konig would know how to appeal to a crying child, and Konig was hopeless with all forms of young children just like she was. Raven growled a little and placed a hand on her forehead.
"You are so idiotic Cobalt, you called me to ask for problems about a child? Do you really think I'm the person to ask?"
Sighing she walked over to the cot and picked the child up, cradling her to her chest and she smoothed her hair lightly, pressing the little soft spot on her head with a light smile.
Raven smirked at Cobalt and gently rocked the baby;
"She misses her Mummy and Daddy, we have to distract her." she said in a matter of fact tone.

Re: Not trained for this (Cobalt and Raven)
Cobalt was still trying to block the crying out of his ears. He needed his ears to be good at his job and right now he wouldn't be surprised if little baby Raven was permanently messing his hearing up. He shrugged helplessly,
"I don't know how to deal with a baby!" he tried to defend himself, "Do I strike you as the kind of guy who knows how to look after a baby?"
When Raven picked the little Raven up, Cobalt flinched a little. He had expected the baby to cry even louder when the older Raven picked her up but instead she seemed to calm down. Cobalt breathed a sigh of relief,
"I'm glad you know what you're doing at least..." he grinned, "Well good luck with distracting her. I'm outa here!"
Laughing happily about the potential freedom, Cobalt made towards the fireplace at a leisurely pace, sure that he was home free.

Re: Not trained for this (Cobalt and Raven)
Raven raised an eyebrow she was pretty sure that she was going to have to slap Cobalt around the face to let him calm down a little from the state that he had worked himself up into and she rolled her eyes a little, jigging the baby lightly against her.
"The same can be said of me Cobalt I came here with a machete after all, so don't judge a book by it's cover." she frowned, not happy to be in the presence of another British.
When it seemed like he was going to skip out, Raven quickly smirked and used her necromancer magic to place a wall of spirits up between the fireplace and Cobalt. No way was she being left on her own.
"You better not have, after all, you were called here to baby sit and I wont be above telling them when you get back you skipped out because you were so scared of a crying child." she smirked.

Re: Not trained for this (Cobalt and Raven)
Cobalt had to admit that it was very strange to see Raven Drake, one of the craziest Germans out there, standing around with a baby in her arms and rocking it gently to sleep. He shrugged a little bit,
"Yes well the difference between you and me is that you seem to have a knack for dealing with babies." he shrugged, "Me on the other hands... teenagers at the youngest."
When the wall of spirits rose up in front of him, Cobalt did a comedic turn around on his heel to point at Raven, "Now that's just childish."
When she threatened to tell Richard and Briony that he had skipped out on babysitting because he was afraid he thought about it for a moment before shrugging,
"And I'm okay with that." he told her with a grin, waving, "Tuddles birdies!"
He dove over the sofa in his effort to make it to the door faster.
