The End Of A Long Road (Open to everyone, please come)

Alex sighed and walked into the room of mirrors she had a horrible life at home her father had hit her over the summer and she just didn't think life was worth living Alex sighed and had brewed a poisoness potion she was very good at potions and she knew how to make poisoness types of potions.

Alex sighed and sat down and she grabbed her book and began to write a letter:

"Dear Everyone,

I'm sorry but I can't live anymore, I just think my time here is up my life is very horrible and very sad and I don't want to burden anyone anymore.

So I'm sorry if I've let you down, I'm sorry if I've dissapointed any of you I'm so sorry I just can't do this anymore!

I can't live like my life is perfect and I'm little miss perfect because I'm not, I don't want to be the known as the girl who killed herself and if I'll be known for that than so be it I'm sorry to everyone and I hope one day you'll all forgive me.

Alex"

As Alex put the letter down she sighed and looked at the vile of poison than she looked at the mirror and sighed.

Alex grabbed the poison and uncorked the bottle she swallowed the whole thing and then threw the bottle at the mirror and saw the mirror break and shatter Alex fell to the ground and began to turn cold before everything went dark she clutched her mothers necklace one lat time before she took one last breath and everything went cold and dark.

(( Yes Alex is dead and unfortunately you can not bring her back))

As Annika was heading out to the quidditch pitch to watch practice, she heard a sound like breaking glass as she hit the landing on the third floor.
Looking around she saw the door to the room of mirrors slightly ajar.
"Maybe that's where the sound came from. What do you think?" she asked Emmi as they hurried to the room.

Opening the door, she looked around and saw one of the mirrors was broken. "What broke tha.." she whispered, then noticed that Alexandra was laying on the floor as if she were asleep.

Quickly she went to wake up her classmate, not knowing what else to do.
She lifted Alex's head up and tried shaking her. No response. She then reached for her pulse and finding none she started to scream. affraid

She held Alex and rocked her crying and asking, "WHY???? What was so terrible?" Sad

Sending Emmy out to find a professor she looked around and found the vial that had held a potion of some kind and the note. She tried reading it but her eyes were tearing to much to really focus.

She continued to rock her friend and just hoped that someone, anyone would come in and help her. She had no idea what to do.

Dmitra was an absolutely new student at Durmstrang, she had taken admission just a week prior. As a result, she was leisuredly exploring her new school, eager to find its secrets. Till now, she had found a secret passageway and two hidden doors.

As Dmitra passed by the third floor corridor, something caught her eye. There was an open door, slightly ajar, from which came the telltale gleam of mirrors. Dmitra smiled and pulled open the door, stepping inside. This must be the famous Room of Mirrors.

Then Dmitra paused. There was another girl on the floor, nestling someone's head in her lap, sobbing softly. Dmitra frowned slightly, "Uh.....hello? Is something wrong?"

"I..think..she's d-dead" Annika hiccuped quietly, relieved to see someone at the door. "I don't understand what happened. We had a couple of classes together and I thought that we were starting to get along. She always seemed to be so sure of herself. I just don't know what to do now.
can you help?"

Looking down at Alex's beautiful, face now calm and relaxed she thought about how much she would be missed around the school. Now she'd lost the only two students she really could talk to. but she mustn't think of herself. What about her parents and family?

"I found a note and a bottle. I read the note, but I still don't understand."

Looking up she realized she must be babbling and that she didn't recognize the girl who had come in.

"I'm sorry, my name's Annika and this is..was..Alexnadra. Did you see any adults on your way here. I send my dragon out to find someone but no professor or nurse has shown up yet. We need to get her family told and get her into somewhere safe. I'm sorry if I'm rambling. I just don't know what to do."

Crying again, she picked up the note and just held it.

Dead? Dead.........Dmitra sucked in several deep, rattling breaths. Now that she thought about it, the girl, Alexandra, looked pale.....unnaturally so. Her eyes stared blankly up at the ceiling, similar to empty glass orbs. Dmitra felt the room spin around her for a second.

Then she breathed deeply and tried to calm herself. This girl, Annika, clearly needed her help. Dmitra went forwards and knelt down, touching Alexandra's pulse point. Nothing. The skin was icy cold to the touch.

Dmitra breathed deeply again and turned her attention to Annika. "My name's Dmitra, I'm a new student, third year. If your......dragon, really has gone to call a teacher, then it may take sometime. The hospital wing is just a floor down, we can levitate Alexandra there. Is that okay?"

"Oh, yes, thank-you. I'm only second year and not sure about levitating, but if you'll tell me how I will do my best. I really wish I could have found her sooner. Oh, whatever did she do this for?"

Laying alexandra carefully on the floor and placing her hands on her stomach, annika reached into her pocket and took out her wand. Wiping the tears from her cheeks she looked around, gathered up the note and the bottle and put them into her satchel.

"Okay, I think I'm ready. Tell what to do next. Let me try it on a chair to make sure I get it right. I would feel awful if I dropped her."

She was so glad that Dmitra had come in, it was good to know that there were people here who could care for someone they didn't know. Yes, very good.

"Ok, swish and flick, and say 'Wingardium Leviosa'" Dmitra demonstrated with her wand, her hand trembling ever so slightly. "I'll levitate Alexandra for now, help me if you get it because Im not sure if I can do it all the way."

Blinking rapidly, Dmitra waved her wand and spoke the incantation, "Wingardium Leviosa." Alexandra's body levitated in mid-air. Dmitra turned to Annika,"Do you think you can do it?"

Alex gasped as she looked down at her body she blinked slightly 'What have I done!' Alex mentally yelled she tried to touch her body but her hand went right through her body.

Alex saw Annika come running in and she saw her rocking Alex's body Alex gasped as she watched Annika cry Alex wanted to cry but she knew she couldn't being a ghost meant she couldn't feel anything... Anymore.

Alex noticed another girl come running inside the room Alex didn't recgonize the girl but Alex knew she wanted to help in anyway she could when Alex heard Annika say she didn't know how to levitate a body Alex sighed.

" Please, don't be sad it was my choice to end my life" Alex told them not knowing if Either girl could hear her " And please don't drop my body" Alex added with a small sigh.

"I think I can. I want to." Annika took out her wand and whispered the incantation. Relieved she felt the power in the wand and knew she had done it.

"She isn't so heavy with two of us doing this. Let's get her to the hospital. I really want to have the clinician look at her. Maybe there's a spell or antidote that will work if we hurry. She' s really a great girl if she let herself be."

suddenly she felt a cold feeling run down her spine. Looking around she didn't see anything. sighing she told herself that it was just nerves. She really didn't believe in ghosts. Even though everyone here seemed to.

whispering she said, "If you're here Alex, we'll take care of things and just know that we'll be careful. I just wish I understood."

then turning toward the door, she started moving out into the corridor.

Dmitra felt the tingling sensation in her arm get reinforced as Annika cast the spell successfully. A barest trace of a smile crossed her features, "Good. Lets do this."

Then as Dmitra heard Annika whisper to the empty air, unprecedented words slipped out of her lips, "Ghosts exist, you know. I saw one at my old school, Salem. She's probably watching us right now."

Then Dmitra shivered slightly, addressing the cold air around her. "I don't know you, and I probably never will. But I do want to tell you that suicide is never an answer. Never. For anything."

Alex heard what Annika whispered and she sighed " The reason I ended my life was because..." Alex started than she stopped and she had nonissue why she ended her life but she decided not to tell them.

Alex sighed and looked at a mirror and she made the mirror turn to fog and she wrote 'Tell my sister, Sam. She lives in London and attends the school there you must tell her' Alex wrote than she heard what the other girl said and she went toward her and stared her in the face.

Alex growled slightly " suicide was my only option, and I may never know you" Alex said coldly she wondered if anyone could bring her back she had no idea she really didn't she just wanted to hug Sam one more time she sighed and wanted to cry.

Annika gasp as words appeared on the mirror. "Look, Alex is here!!! We need to let an adult know. I wonder if she heard us?"

Thinking of Sam and how she would feel made Annika even sadder, but more determined than ever to get Alex to the hospital ward.

"Come on let's go, we have to tell the nurse so she can get Sam. Maybe she can help us."

Starting toward the door, tears started falling again, but a new strength flowed from her wand, almost as if it understood her need and wanted to help.

"Do you need any help?I can do healing charms,"I said feeling panicked.I had decided to explore Hogwarts and now I wasn't sure what to do.I didn't know if they had even heard me.The girl was probably better off going to the hospital wing but what if she died before she got there?Then again magic was flowing from one of the girl's wands maybe she was going to heal the injured girl.But in the end I decided to go after them just in case.
