Lesson Four - Second Years Empty Lesson Four - Second Years

Post by Richard Romain Mon May 28, 2012 10:25 pm

Richard whistled away behind his desk as he waited for his students. He had a very exciting lesson planned for them today and he hoped that they enjoyed what he was going to show them because it was all going to be useful stuff today.

Lesson Four - Second Years Empty Re: Lesson Four - Second Years

Post by Sam Hawthorn Tue May 29, 2012 3:07 am

Sam sighed and walked to transfiguration very slowly she was so depressed and angry when her uncle never sent her a reply back about what they were going to do.

Sam gave the professor a small nod and she say down in the very back of the classroom and she sighed quietly and waited for the class to start.

Teresa entered the classroom, expecting to see Sam and she did. It's nice to know that she'll never enter a classroom without a friend.

She took a seat next to Sam, smiling happily. She frowned when she saw Sam was looking sad. Teresa decided to lighten up her mood with conversation.

"Hi, Sam," she said,m giving Sam a bright smile. "How you been? My stupid bird says 'Hi'."

Lesson Four - Second Years Empty Re: Lesson Four - Second Years

Post by Ebony Summers Tue May 29, 2012 9:20 am

Ebony sighed as she walked to transfiguration she didn't particularly want to go but she knew she must. The only thought making her go was the idea that they might... possibly be doing something fun, or she hoped so at least.

she walked in and sat at the back as she looked up at the teacher, waiting for the class to start she slowly brought out her note book and quill along with a fresh pot of ink.

she sighed and boredly started to doodle across the page, waiting for class to start so she could go back to her dorm and finish writing her letter back to her brother who was still extremely up set about having to stay alone with their abusive father.

Anne walked to her next class and sat in the back, she wanted to sit with Sam, but that seat was taken. She sighed and pulled out a book wanting something to do while she waited. She liked this one it was sad but well written.

Lesson Four - Second Years Empty Re: Lesson Four - Second Years

Smiling at his class he sat on the edge of his desk facing them,

"Now I know that quite a number of you don't want to be leaving for the summer this year." he shrugged a little bit, "God knows why school and homework is more fun but it's your choice."

He clapped his hands together with a happy grin,

"Now! You all remember how I let you make talking animals in your end of year lesson last year right?" He smirked, "Well we're going to be doing something along the same lines. You're going to be making... your own cat. Not just any cat either. I'm going to get you to make your own tiger cub! It won't grow up though I'm afraid so it'll stay playful and cute forever."

Now here was the really good part, thought Richard as he held up a finger,

"One more thing before we get started..." he smirked, "I've gotten special permission from the ministry for magic. You can use this spell whenever you like, even over the summer."

Moving over to the blackboard, Richard slipped into teacher mode again,

"The incantation is Emotstativ." he turned to the class, "Pronounced Emote-stat-iv. Emote-stat-iv."

Seeing that he was understood he continued,

"The wand movements are as follows..." He waited till he had everyone's attention before showing the movements as he spoke, "One clockwise spin, followed by one anti-clockwise spin, a downward flick and then draw your wand upwards in a straight line."

He nodded to his class,

"Practive the incantation five times, WITHOUT USING THE WAND MOTIONS." he told them, "And then practice the wand movements five times, WITHOUT THE INCANTATION."

Lesson Four - Second Years Empty Re: Lesson Four - Second Years

Post by Xander Clarke Thu May 31, 2012 4:46 am

Xander walked into the classroom as the professor was explaining the spell and took a seat in the back. He knew he was late and made a point to make eye contact with the professor to say that he was sorry about it. He didn't feel it was necessary to make a show of it, even though he knew he would lose points.

Taking out his wand, he did as instructed, practicing the word and wand movements separately. When he had finished he looked around, wondering where Luke had run off to.

Entering the classroom he managed to get in and sit down before the Professor began to explain himself. He knew he might be in trouble and looked up at the professor and mumbled a sorry, not sure he wanted to bring his mood down.

As he listened, he began to do as asked and began to do the hand movement trying to get it right and make up for the lateness.

Ebony easily got the hang of the spell and the wand motion separately and then waited for the teacher to say they could do them both at the same time, she was kind of excited about making a baby tiger cub. It sounded pretty fun, it was also a reasonably easy spell to get used to.

Teresa said the indentation five times and proceed to the movement. She would like to see a baby cub. They're adorable, but would they eat Raven? He is annoying, but he was her best friend. Practicing, Teresa wondered about the tiger and Raven.
