Lesson Four - Third Years
Cobalt sipped at his coffee at the Starbucks stand, which looked to be lifted straight out of New York City. To his right was a news stand from the same city and to his left was a busy London bus station and a packed road crossing. The entire classroom was filled with people interacting with these four pieces of scenery, hustling and bustling as if this was the city. To make it easy on his students, the area in front of the door was clear of all people and he was waiting there for them so that they wouldn't go into the crowds without his permission.

Airen walked into the classroom expecting to see the same set up as he had grown accustomed to. His eyes bugged out of his head when he saw the multiple scenes and all the people. After taking a bit of time to get used to the change of scenes, he spotted Cobalt over by the Starbucks.
Seeing that he was in an area that the people seemed to avoid, Airen decided that maybe it was best to wait here for the lesson to begin.

Haley walked into the Infiltration classroom and stopped dead. People. Everywhere. She blinked and then a small smile crept into her face. This professor might be dangerously scary, but he was deadly awesome! Haley grinned as she walked over to stand next to Airen where she felt that it might be a bit safer, knowing it might not be the intention of professor Smith to let them be wandering into the crowd just yet.
She studied the details, and the more she saw, the more amazed she got. She then put her face into a monotone, not wanting to look like a seven year old girl who had just got the doll she had wanted for a lifetime.

Charlotte walked into the lesson, and she blinked when she saw that it was full of people and scenes that should not have been there, she almost turned around and walked out thinking she was in another room, but it turned out that she was not, spotting Papa in the middle of the fray by a Starbucks stand.
This was not a very good idea because it now made Charlotte really want to have a Starbucks with him, merely however she stood next to Airen and smiled gently at him, then to Haley.

Cobalt wandered through the crown with practiced ease, not actually ever coming into contact with any of the people. He smiled as he approached his three favourite pupils. Of course he wasn't supposed to have favourites but still. He pulled three shrunken starbucks cookies from his pocket, enlarging them, and handing one to each of them,
"Morning guys." he greeted them cheerfully, "As you can tell... the classroom is filled with people. Lots and lots of people. And they're all very busy-looking aren't they?"
He grinned,
"Well guess what?" he smirked, "At the starbucks I have opened a tab for each of you. You may buy anything you like and it'll all be at my expense. However, you must get there without knocking anybody over. That includes you being knocked over. And considering the way they're walking..."
He trailed off as a man stumbled and was then justled to the ground where people just stepped on him or over him,
"Well they're not curtious I'll say that now." he smirked, "Any questions?"

Victoria walked into the classroom slowly, having caught the scent of too many people as she opened the door. Trying not to look ready to bolt, she calmed her nerves and listened to the professors instructions. Thanks to the Headmistress's help, she had been feeding regularly, but still. This many people in a small area was a bit of a sensory overload.
She felt like a bit of an intruder, what with how well the other students and the professor seemed to know each other, but she didn't let it phase her. Approaching Professor Smith, she said, "Sorry I'm late, professor. It won't happen again."
She stood off to the side for a minute, surveying the crowded room and trying to figure out how she would get through them.

She was utterly late for the class she feared the most. Walking in she jumped seeing random people there and she squinted trying to figure out what it would be. Seeing that he was giving out treats, she figured she was in the dog house.
She inwardly sighed, and rolled her eyes at her own incompetence before walking in nervously. She tried to play it cool, and not be so meek around him, meekness gave you no respect she told herself.
"Pardon me for being late" she murmured and placed her books down on one side as she heard his description.

Humphrey decided since he was already running late, he would practice his sneaking. He did a Disillusionment Charm before he came in, and was walking very slowly into the room. Holding his breath, then he walked to his seat, and took it off with a wave of his wand. "Sorry I'm late Professor Smith. I got here as fast as I could. Decided it would be a good opportunity to practice my sneaking." he said, bowing his head to let the Professor know he respected whatever decision he was going to make. "Any points you wish to take, I understand."
"Sorry if I disrupted everything with my entrance. I was just practicing, not trying to show off, sir. Even though it may have come across that way. I heard you opened up a Starbucks account for some of us. Does that include me, I know we haven't always gotten along well Professor Smith, with the whole drama last year. I want you to know I never intended to hurt your daughter, but she broke my heart, and I was just trying to do the best I knew how." he said, clearly making a genuine, public apology. He wanted to resolve it now, and the sooner the better.

Re: Lesson Four - Third Years
Haley gladly accepted the cookie professor Smith gave her, and gave him a big smile in appreciation. Honestly, it almost made it okay that she had to skip breakfast to be here on time. She felt her stomach churn at the very thought.
Pushing that aside, she listened intently to what the professor was telling them. She frowned slightly. She had always been good at avoiding people in the streets, but this was different. She instantly tried to make a pattern that wouldn't be destroyed, but no such luck. The people were simply walking around.
She looked up as Victoria, Tess and Humphrey walked in a bit late, and she bit her lip, knowing that wasn't a good thing. She then bit harder as he started to apologize for the end of year ball in the first grade. Haley looked over at Charlotte, knowing this wasn't a very pleasant subject for her, and then concluded with the fact that this was stuff that Humphrey should take up with the professor under four eyes alone.
She decided to ignore it and focused on the people again. She raised her hand. "Are we allowed to use magic, professor?" she asked him.

Re: Lesson Four - Third Years
Airen thanked the Professor for the drink and sipped it while he gave the instructions. When Humphrey, Victoria, and Tess walked in late, Airen felt bad for them due to the fact that they most likely had to deal with a detention or some form of punishment. He set his lowered his drink and pinched the bridge of his nose in silent concentration to not show his annoyance at how much Humphrey talked. I swear, it's like he's in love with his own voice, Airen thought to himself.
When the Professor finished, Airen shook his head no but waited patiently while Haley asked her question.

Re: Lesson Four - Third Years
As soon as Humphrey started talking, he knew it was a mistake. He was late, and he was reminding the man of the harm he'd accidentally caused his adopted daughter. Not a good combination. "Maybe, maybe we can talk about it another time Professor Smith." Humphrey said, and then started walking through the crowd.
Not exactly sure what the assignment was. He decided to talk quietly with one of them, and try to listen in on conversations close by to the person he was talking to. One at a time, he could eliminate people, because there might be one person who is planted with information he wants them to find out. Humphrey wasn't sure, but it was the best plan he had. "Hello, I'm Humphrey." he said, as he walked up to the first person he came across.

Re: Lesson Four - Third Years
Tess winced hearing Humphrey remind everyone of first year. Oh Merlin that was terrible, she looked at Victoria and shrugged. At least if they were in trouble, they'd get detention together. She sighed at the thought, she'd avoided detention like the plague. Only gotten it once.
She raised her hand hoping to diffuse the terribly awkward situation.
"I had a question?" she asked softly. She was by no means weak, but he intimidated her a great deal and his tone just...she didn't know. "do we need to go through?"
He never said they could go over and that was her plan, unless he well specified not to. But as Humphrey began his movements, she figured he'd do what he was best at, chatting them up.

Re: Lesson Four - Third Years
Victoria watched Humphrey make a fool of himself. Smiling lightly, she decided to give it a go. Her impression from the professor's instructions was to get across the room to the Starbucks without touching the people.
Taking Humphrey's stealing of the spotlight as an opportunity, she turned her cloak inside-out and put it back on.
Disappearing from view, she slowly moved through the crowd, taking advantage of her small stature. Since the crowd was unable to see her, they seemed easier to move through. A few times she had to press up against the back of stalls to avoid a collision, but she slowly made it to the stand. Crouching down, she flipped the cloak again, so as not to draw attention to it, then stood to order a hot chocolate.
Turning back towards the group, she smirked a bit at Tess waiting to see what her sly little friend would do.

Re: Lesson Four - Third Years
Deciding that he had had enough waiting, Airen walked to the Starbucks. A group of people approached him. He slipped in and followed in their midst, as they were completely oblivious to him. After all, who pays any attention to a thirteen year old. From the point of view of a person on the side of the other students, he would've seemed to vanish into the crowd like one sees on those spy films.
He did this from group to group. Seeing that their was a massive group that he wouldn't have been able to slip through, he sat on a bench and waited for them to pass. As another group approached, he slid from his seat into the crowd. It took awhile, but he eventually got to the Starbucks.
Walking up to the teller, he ordered a simple bottled water. He leaned on the counter and sipped it as he waited for the others. He sent a friendly nod to Victoria.

Hearing no response, she frowned a bit she decided that this loophole was her way of advancement. He never specified to go through, but rather not to bump into anyone, or avoid getting bumped.
So with a shrug, she pointed to herself.
"Wingardium Leviosa" she murmured wondering if it'd work on herself.
She felt her feet floating and pushing higher she floated over towards the other side simply. She wondered if it was fair, she hoped it was, after all, she'd asked before. She rubbed her arm waiting for the others.

Re: Lesson Four - Third Years
Talking, and slipping through as he talked wasn't the quickest way. He knew that, but for Humphrey it was one of the more effective techniques. When he was nearing the Starbucks, he felt a hand placed on his left shoulder. Turning, Humphrey attempted to shrug out of it. Quickly, he slipped between a man in a black business suit, and somebody who could have been his secretary. A younger girl with glasses who was scribbling notes on a clip-board.
Now, he was so close to the Starbucks he could practically taste the coffee. Slipping through the crowd, he decided for once to try Airen's technique of remaining silent. He became a part of the crowd, and slipped through them like his feet were becoming part of the intricate dance. Humphrey had made it through, and for once, actually managed to shut his trap.
"I would love to have an apple cider, venti size." he placed his order. Their apple ciders were one of his favorite drinks at the store. However, he knew practically everything they made he enjoyed.
