Lesson Four - Second Years
The Doctor sat at his desk, his feet up on the wooden surface, as he idly painted a few runes on the back of his hand with ink before vanishing the ink with a wave of his hand. Today was going to be an interesting lesson in practical runic studies.

lesson four
Walking into the class room, Annika looked around wondering if any other students would be here today. Not that she really cared, just curious. dr. Nettle was doing something interesting at his desk but she couldn't see exactly what.
this class had proved to be more fun and interesting than she had thought it would be. Runes were difficult, but she knew that they would be very important in her future. How she knew this was unsure, but in her heart she knew it was true.

Re: Lesson Four - Second Years
The Doctor sighed a little bit as he vanished a particular rune from the back of his hand. Yawning slightly, he smiled at his only second year student, Annika,
"Morning Annika." he greeted her brightly, "I hope you don't mind that it's just the two of us but today we're going to learn how to make a very simple but very important rune... the darkness rune."
He drew the rune on the board. It was a hypercube, as the muggles knew it, surrounded by a perfect circle,
"You apply this and all light around you disappears. Can you tell me the advantage of this?"

lesson four runes
"Well, you could hide from enemies, the ones who use the Dark Arts, and even my Mama and Papa when I have chores to do," she replied giggling as she added the last phrase.
"Sorry, I couldn't resist. My sister and I used to wish we could do that." she added as she wrote the Rune down on her parchment. This was one Rune she didn't want to forget. Somehow she knew that in the near future this would be very very important to her and those around her.
