Lesson Four - Second Years
Natasha was sad to see the school year end, but such was life. She had been nervous about teaching, but decided it wasn't all bad.
Waiting for her second years to arrive, she double checked her enchantments on the aquarium she had set up in the clearing. It was only about the size of a small half bathroom, but she had made sure the water was clear so the students could see through it.
Since it was the end of their second year, and they would be facing more challenging creatures next year, she wanted to get them prepared. As she watched the tank, the creatures looked like a small humanoid octopus. A friend of hers from America had once told her they reminded him of a movie called "Alien". Natasha simply shrugged and sat down on a nearby bench.

Re: Lesson Four - Second Years
Xander walked down to class, sure that he was late. As he approached the clearing, he noticed that no one else had arrived yet.
Walking over to the teacher and the aquarium, he said, "Hello, professor. Guess I'm it for today."
He looked at the ugly creature in the tank. "What is that?" He figured he may as well ask since no one else was here.

Re: Lesson Four - Second Years
Natasha smiled sadly at Mr. Clarke. Her happy mood dimmed a little, seeing that he was the only one here. But, trying to stay happy for the one student she had, she turned to the tank and started on the lesson.
"This creature, Mr. Clarke, is a Grindylow. This one was caught from our very own Black Lake. Kinda makes you think twice about taking a dip, eh?" She couldn't help but laugh a little. During her school days, the more courageous, Or stupid, students would wade out into the water on a dare.
"They hate witches, wizards, and muggles alike, though some merpeople tend to keep them as pets. They generally feed on fish, algea and other such water creatures."
Taking this time one on one, she asked him, "Since this is the last lesson of the year, did you have any questions about anything we covered, or even something we didn't?"
