Ophelia had never felt so constantly flustered, yet happy at the same time around someone before. She felt as if she were betraying her deceased love for a moment, before she reminded herself he was long gone. Never coming back.

For a brief moment, her expression fell, before she pushed him to the back of her mind and smiled up at Cain brightly once more. "I should know that by now, but I guess i'm a slower learner."

Ophelia was earnest in the fact that she didn't mind the pain. Even though it hurt a lot, she knew it would be worth it for Cain, and for Faia who she was yet to meet. She was excited definitely, not only over the fact that Cain would be human, but she would also get to meet Faia.

She nodded her head, she'd heard of no other way for a creature to become fully human. Well, wizard. She'd make them both wizards. Unless they didn't want that. "I just have a question, though you may be magical now in the transformation I can make you non-magical. Would you prefer to be human, or wizard?" She asked softly. She blinked and tilted her head at him.

"What is it?" She asked curiously.

Cain smiled gently and he chuckled, of course there were many things that they had yet to learn about each other, however he hoped that when he was human he could perhaps learn a little bit more about each other. It would make him very happy he knew, perhaps it would have the same effect on Ophelia?

"We will have plenty of time to learn things about one another while we are human together, yes?" he asked in a soft voice, looking up at the star so that his little blush might be hidden.

When he was asked if he wanted to be a wizard or not, Cain hummed and he nodded his head, he thought that being a wizard would be the best way to go, perhaps he could even acquire a job at Hogwarts for his own income, at least the Headmistress knew him there.

"I believe that both me and Faia would love to be Wizards, or witches in her sense." he smiled gently "Thank you for asking us though, but I believe that it was going to be best for us to still be a part of at least some of our former world."

Hearing Opherlia asked what he was changing for her blushed a little; "It's for someone special that I feel...it would be rather impossible to be with otherwise."

Ophelia shook her head slightly and giggled at him, resisting an urge to laugh harder. She grinned up at him, taking in his handsome features and feeling a very light blush on her cheeks just at thinking like that. She was already beginning to fall from him.

And she'd be a liar if she claimed that she wasn't a little scared. She felt a smile grow on her face and nodded her head eagerly, not seeing his blush. "Oh yes, we will indeed!" She exclaimed.

Ophelia was glad that he wanted to remain magical, it would be far easier that way. To take away a magical beings magic was rather hard, and the harder it was the more painful it was. She smiled gratefully and looked up at Ipolani's star once more.

"That's good, that makes the process easier. Funnily enough, it's actually harder to take away magic than it is to give someone magic. it'll also mean it won't be as painful," she added, to assure him again.

She noticed his blush, and her smile was in-tact until she processed the words. She felt her features slip into utter disappointment for a moment, before she forced a smile back on her face. "Oh? Well, I wish you and your mystery love the best of luck," she said quietly.

Cain thought that he had better make clear the reason that he was going to change himself to be with her, after all the look of dissappointment on her face was something that he did not like at all, it was so heartbreaking to see that she perhaps thought he would be in love with someone else.

Stepping forwards he placed his hand on Ophelia's cheek and tilted her head up to look into his eyes, and he ducked his head nervously to one side as he thought about how to word what he was going to say at that moment in time. He could feel the atmosphere jumping and he took a deep breath;

"Ophelia, I was wondering if you....if you knew just how I feel about you?" he asked quietly "I want to be with you as a human Ophelia and I want to be able to...be right for you, so that maybe my feelings can be returned."

Ophelia couldn't help but feel her high spirits fade away into utter disappointment due to the fact that Cain had some other girl in his sights, someone who most likely returned his affections. She looked down at her hands, not able to force the smile on her face anymore.

She felt slightly teary and had to blink away the tears as she heard him step forwards, and felt his warm hand against her cheek. Her head was tilted upwards and she stared into his eyes, trying to force a look of cheeriness on her face but failing miserably.

Her brow furrowed and she looked completely confused. "Feel about me?" She inquired. She stared at him blankly for several seconds. "Your feelings are already returned, Cain," her face was tomato red and she spoke softly.

Cain found himself getting slightly shocked when Ophelia looked like she was about to cry, however when she said that his feelings were returned he couldn't help but smile happily, his normal lopsided smile and he wondered if she truly felt the same way that he did.

"Truly, they are returned?" he asked stroking his thumb against her cheek as he looked into her eyes, hoping to see happiness laying there, if there was he would know that she was truly happy and truly did return his feelings.

Gently Cain bent down and kissed Ophelia's cheek;

"You feel that we could...perhaps, when I am human, persue a relationship as more then friends? Like I so badly wish to myself?" he asked, waiting anxiously for reassurement.

Ophelia was almost as shocked as Cain when she realised she was near tears. She'd found that she often cried ever since Alex's death whenever she felt slightly disappointed, and this was a huge blow. She shook her head.

However, the sadness was gone and she couldn't help the huge smile that spread across her face. As his thumb stroked her cheek, she felt her cheeks tinge lightly. "Yes, they are," she murmured.

Her smile grew as he bent down and kissed her cheek.

She looked excited at the prospect of it and nodded her head eagerly. "of course, Cain! I would - I mean, of course!" She exclaimed.

Cain felt his heart soaring in his chest and he could not believe that now that he had taken this chance that it had paid off, that Ophelia truly did feel the same way about him that he felt about her, he hoped above all else that they were able to make this work.

Unable to stop the large smile breaking across his face Cain bent down and picked Ophelia up in a large hug, he was just over the moon and he thanked his stars that he was destined to have this one hopeful and beautiful thing in his life, after the pain he had just been through.

"You have no idea how happy this makes me Ophelia!" he beamed "Now I only wish that I had not been so scared to ask you before hand, but now you know why I want to change, I want to change for you, to be with you."

His happiness was almost breaking out of him as he sighed happily, looking up at the stars with his same happy grin on his lips.

Ophelia felt incredibly giddy, and she knew in that moment that she was over Alex. As much as she'd loved him, and she'd still love him, she was no longer lost without him. She felt her heart skip a beat in her chest.

She hugged him tightly, giggling slightly as he picked her up into his warm embrace. She was glad that she could make him happy, as losing one's sister would be something hard to cope with. She hoped she could help him, and mourned for the loss of someone she had never known but cared for due to Cain.

Ophelia felt her cheeks tinge pink again but she didn't care at all as she smiled up at him. "I'm glad that I make you happy, Cain, and i'm glad that you return my own feelings." She said in a giddy tone.

She looked up at the stars with him and smiled at Ipolani's star, which somehow was shining a little brighter than before.

Cain could see that Ophelia was getting giddy with excitement and he had to admit that his own excitement was something he'd never felt matched before. It felt so incredible. He loved this feeling, of being so loved and accepted.

The stars were truly kind to him to have seen fit to send him Ophelia as his partner. They had rewarded him with perhaps the most amazing woman he had ever known and for that he would be eternally grateful. He smiled and kissed her cheeks gently, no doubt increasing the blush,

"Ophelia I will return those feelings until the last star in the sky has exploded into vapour." he promised her, "I will be with you forever."

Ophelia had to mentally scold herself for being so out-there excitable. She really just needed to calm down, take a few deep breaths and treat this situation seriously. After all, Cain was about to change into a human.

For her. Damn it, Ophelia! She screamed at herself as that giddy smile returned to her face and her cheeks remained rosy. She was beginning to wonder if she was capable of ever calming herself down. SHe blinked in surprise as he kissed her cheeks, and as expected by both her blush deepened.

Ophelia looked down at her hands and then back up at Cain through her lashes, her eyes watery. "And I, you, Cain. I was so broken Cain, and you fixed me." She said softly.

Cain smiled softly, he was so glad to have finally told Ophelia, and he was even more glad that he was going to be able to become human like he had wondered so often about, so that he could be with her as he had dreamed of in the past. However, he couldn't help but wonder what would happen to his heard when he left, although, in reality it was not really his concern.

When he heard her mention how much she was broken Cain couldn't deny that he had worried about her so much when they had first met, he had wanted to keep her with him, to make sure that she was well, and she didn't do anything stupid.

"I am only too glad to make the woman I love feel the way that she should." he smiled softly "There is a ball coming up at Hogwarts School, as a new member of staff there I was anxious to know if you would accompany me? I will probably still be a centaur at that point though, so more spectacularly bad dancing." he asked, nervously.

Ophelia was glad that Cain had the bravery she did not possess. Jump into battle, risk her neck to save the lives of the innocent and the young? Ophelia was there! Tell someone that she's falling in love with them? Ophelia would be running the other way to hide under a rock.

Luckily for her, she had found Cain that day and her fate's had changed. Where before, she felt as if she was being pulled down into a dark hole, she had met him and had a new perspective. Though she hadn't healed straight away, their encounters after that had changed her.

"You're so sweet, Cain," she smiled softly at his words, her cheek seeming to be stained a light pink with the amount of blushing she'd done. "Don't be ridiculous, your dancing is fine. I will see if I can make it, but I have a busy schedule." Her tone clearly conveyed her disappointment wit her schedule. Mostly British Rebel *cough* duties *cough*.

Cain beamed happily when Ophelia said that he was sweet, he was very glad to recieve such a compliment from her, he always liked compliments but from Ophelia they seemed to have ten times the effect on him, and although he didnt blush, if she had said it earlier in their relationship, he knew he would be.

"Thank you Ophelia, I am always glad to be called sweet by you." he smiled softly "But I don't think I should compliment you any more, after all, you're already blushing a fair bit, and I know you dislike me making you blush." Cain teased lightly.

Hearing that she might not be able to come to the ball, Cain was undoubtably a little dissappointed, but he tried to hide his feelings, there would be other occassions though he was sure of it. With a soft smile, he reached out to hold Ophelia's hand, squeezing it gently.

"If you're busy Ophelia then I understand completely, I will probably still attend to make new friends amongst the faculty." he smiled softly.

Ophelia wasn't one to ever lie, and calling Cain sweet was probably the most honest thing she had ever said. Really, the centaur was an absolutely angelic being and she felt ever so lucky to have him in her life. Why anyone didn't appreciate his open-mindedness, his willingness to help was beyond.

Ophelia giggled at his words and reached up to place a kiss on his cheek. "There you go being a sweetheart again. As much as everyone loves a good compliment, I don't like blushing so thank you." She grinned up at him.

Ophelia felt terrible for disappointing Cain and made a mental note to try and make time in her schedule. After all, Cain was her number one priority now. She took his hand in her own, squeezing back.

"I'm terribly sorry, Cain," she said, a frown marring her features. "But at least you will have a chance to meet new people."

Cain chuckled warmly and he gently stepped forwards, wrapping his arms around Ophelia in a warm hug, it was something that he loved, hugging her, he felt that she was safe and warm in his arms and that was how he wanted Ophelia to be always, safe, warm and with him. Closing his eyes, he rested his chin on her head.

"I love holding you close like this." he whispered quietly "Only now you can know the real reason, if you want to hear it. It might however make you displeased as you may blush." Cain advised breathing in the scent of Ophelia's hair.

Keeping a small warm smile on his lips, Cain nodded his head, he would indeed have a chance to meet new people in this role at the school, he had a feeling that he would enjoy it, especially when he was a human, he had somewhere already to gain work!

"Now now," he whispered, tracing her eyebrows "Don't frown, as you say, I will meet some new wonderful friends, I will be sure to tell you all about them."

Ophelia felt completely and utterly content in Cain's arms. Nothing else compared to the feeling of security she got whilst folded neatly into his arms, and he wrapped her own around him, nestling her head against his chest. He was warm, lovely and warm. She could've stood like that forever in his arms.

"I don't mind blushing anymore because you won't judge me for it or think i'm weird," she looked up at him with a shy, gentle smile. "I like- I like being in your arms. I feel very safe and happy." She murmured.

Ophelia was hesitant on turning him into a human. What if he despised her for changing him, what if he didn't like his new form? She worried her lip but decided not to dwell on it. She couldn't change him until next week, and she would save the worrying for them.

"Yes, lots of opportunities to make new friends. I'm sure they'll all love you, after all, you're easy to love," she smiled, her cheeks flushing lightly, though her eyes darkened. "But if any of those women get too close to you," her voice took on a darker tone that didn't match her sweet personality at all.

Cain smiled gently and he was glad that Ophelia was happy in his arms like it made him as happy to hold her, but there were many things that simply having Ophelia nearby, were made so much better by her presence, he had only just realised how much that was true.

"The reason I love to hold you like this, is, because only with you do I feel complete, only when I hold you like this, do my worries melt away and I feel completely content to...be." he whispered softly into her ear.

A little surprised at Ophelia's tone, Cain understood she might be insecure, and she may need reassuring of his faithfullness to her, which Cain was all too happy to provide, many men would have taken it as an insult, but he knew that Ophelia wouldn't have meant it that way.

"None of them will compare to you, Ophelia, but I'll make sure they know what they have coming, if any of them press untoward advances upon me." he chuckled lightly before sighing "As much as I don't want you to go...it is getting late, late for you at least, perhaps for now, we should part?"

Ophelia sighed softly, nestling her head against his chest as she tightened her arms around him. She tilted her head upwards to stare up at the sky, a soft smile on her face. It was so beautiful being out here, and there was no one else she'd rather be with than Cain in that moment.

She blushed bright red and stretched up on her toes, her lips touching softly against his before she dropped back once more. "I feel so whole in your arms, Cain. You make me feel like nothing else matters in the world if i'm tucked away in your arms. And I feel safe, too.:

Ophelia hadn't intended to say anything that could be taken the wrong way, but she didn't like the idea of losing Cain to another woman. After all, her love was very attractive - and she could only imagine just how attractive when he was in his human form. She grit her teeth at the thought.

"Are you sure? I couldn't bare to lose you to someone else." She said softly, shuffling her feet against the ground and looked up at him with worry clear on her face. She nodded her head as he suggested it, realising she was tired. "I should probably go. I'll see you soon, yes?" She asked hopefully.

Cain smiled gently, he could tell that him and Ophelia were going to be able to discuss things like this more at length, and more readily when he was transformed which made him all the more eager to have this done with as soon as possible, but he would grit his teeth and wait, knowing there was nothing else to be done.

"Well, aren't we a pair?" he chuckled lightly "I am so glad, and so honored, that you feel the same as I, Ophelia, I would not know what to have done if you did not."

Raising his eyebrow, Cain lowered his head and kissed Ophelia softly on the lips, just like she had done to him, and hoped to reassure her also in this manner as well as the words of comfort he spoke to her. Although endearing, Cain did not want Ophelia to be worrying about this.

"I am perfectly sure, my eyes are only set for one woman, and she's standing right in front of me." he whispered softly, before drawing away slowly with a nod "You will indeed Ophelia, I hope the time passes swiftly in our moments apart."
