Lesson One - Second Years Empty Lesson One - Second Years

Post by Darcie Vane Tue Jun 12, 2012 6:31 am

Darcie smiled happily, she never thought she would be so glad to be back at Durmstrang but she was, there was however that sadness that she would no longer be able to see Luther as much as she wanted to...and that she would be in the same castle as Mikhail, and it still made her upset to think of him walking out on her.

Biting her lip Darcie shook her head and composed herself for the lesson ahead, she knew that she needed to be happy for the students as they would most likely be nervous after having to take the ship to the school once more after the attack.

With a happy little flick, Darcie wrote in chalk the lesson point on the board;

'Immortality'

Lesson One - Second Years Empty Re: Lesson One - Second Years

Christielle hopped into the classroom, literally. She was just happy that she was a second year already. She had been waiting for that moment for a long time, which seemed forever. "Good morning, lehrer Vane!" she said, smiling, as she made her way towards a seat.

She was also happy that lehrer Vane wasn't one of the lehrers who were leaving Durmstrang. But she was sad, of course, because some did leave.

Looking up at the board, she became rather interested at their topic. Immortality.

Dark Arts, this was one of his favorite classes. Definitely in the top three, maybe even number one on the list. There so many different things he could learn. Lars had always had a passion for learning curses and the like. Many other things could be learned from the Dark Arts as well. Taking a seat at the very front of the class, he set his bag down. Then brought out a new roll of parchment, his ink pot, and quill, and lastly, his course book. Looking at the board, he noticed the word Immortality written there.

"Hello Professor Vane, how was your summer holiday?" Lars asked her. Speaking quietly to himself he said, "Immortality, that should be fun. I already know of one way, though I am not sure it is the best way to attain it."

Darcie smiled happily at the class and she waved to all of their familiar faces, they really were a delight to teach these pupils and she had missed them over the holidays.

"Hello everyone, my holidays were wonderful and I hope you all had nice ones as well, but now it's back to the hard work of school again, but I'm glad to see you all here once more."

A large smile on her lips she gestured nicely to the board;

"Immortality, you suggest one way that you could become immortal all of you? If somebody has already taken your idea, try to think of another and I'll come back to you."

Lomasi thought of vampire being one of those would be bad because you have to drink blood to do it. No she did not think the best way to do it.What else was there way to become immortal as they put it.

She read somewhere of fountain of youth but was okay way to live she guess but still it must be hard life to live that is while others get older they died.Then she thought of it and that would be unicorn blood. No way she stump that low no offend to hurt such a creature.

Well there always unicorn blood. I can't think of none other. She look back at the teacher when she raise her hand hopeful that was right and she was not sure herself.

Darcie when she heard the answer that Lomasi gave half nodded her head, the blood of the unicorn when drunk did sustain the life of the person who drank it but it reduced their own life to that of a half life, if that would be classed as immortality on its own, Darcie couldn't really be sure.

"Five points to Verstand for your most excellent guess Lomasi!" she smiled happily "But other ways of becoming immortal are as thus, you could become a vampire, if you are clever enough you could always stay alive for as long as you wished to. Not only this, but the most impressive method, is via the creation of a Philosophers Stone, could you each research this for next lesson where we will feedback on what you have found out."

With a broad smile on her lips Darcie opened the door to the classroom; "Class dismissed."
