Lesson One - Second Years Empty Lesson One - Second Years

Post by Natasha Willow Wed Jun 13, 2012 2:34 pm

Natasha was excited for this class. Last year she had been able to gather these creatures from a nearby plane, and they seemed to stay in the area.

The few that she could coax into her pen were all Aethonan except one. The Granian, who she had come to call Kaspia, was only three years old, much younger than the other ones. She was a little more skidish than the others, due to her age, but was very gentle once used to a person. Natasha had become close to her last year, and hoped that would help in her relations with the students.

Checking the gate latch one more time, she took a seat on one of the benches she had positioned in front of the pen and waited for the second years to arrive.

Carly practically skipped to care of magical creatures, last year she had loved the class and this year she was sure would be no different. Taking a seat on one of the branches around the pen, Carly looked at the once again beautiful animals they would be studying.

"Hello, Miss Grass, thank you for joining me." Natasha moved over to the young mare and scratched behind her ears.

"Today you get to meet winged horses. Since it is just you, you have your pick of any of these beautiful creatures. Feel free to get to know them and ride them if you would like. If you feel up to it, you may fly with them, but I ask that you stay in site."

She had experienced irritation with her previous year students on their reaction to the seemingly harmless creatures, not giving them the deserved respect. But Miss Grass was always respectful and intelligent in her interactions, so she trusted her more than some others.

"I would like 50 words for next class on the different breeds of winged horses. All four please."
