Lesson One - Third Years

[Natasha Willow]

Natasha was excited to see her third years again. She'd modified this lesson from last year, since the students hadn't seemed very enthusiastic about actually facing these creatures.

As she waited, she put another round of enchantments on the small pen. There were only three of the fungus looking creatures, but they could be very dangerous if provoked.

She had made sure to allow for spells to be directed through the force field into the pen. She didn't want the students to miss a wonderful opportunity, after all.

[Xander Clarke]

Xander walked down to class, worried that he would be late. He was surprised, then, to see that he was the only one there so far.

Walking over to the teacher, and a pen of strange looking creatures, he said, "Good morning, Professor." He decided to get a good look at the creatures before the others showed up.

Natasha smiled at Mr. Clarke, the only one to arrive. "Good morning."

Moving towards the pen, she smiled. "Since it is just you, you'll have the upper hand on your classmates. Today you'll be facing a Bundium. They are parasitic creatures that tend to infest worn down homes."

In the previous year, she had taken her students to a shack and let them face of with the creatures in person, but figured a controlled environment would be better.

"Feel free to use the know spell against it as practice. The spell is Scourgify." She demonstrated the wand movement. "I would like 50 words on the creature for next class."
