Lesson 1, Fourth Years (A)

Sofia could not believe that the fourth years are finally here. She had worked hard getting the Syllabus ready for them.

Syllabus Fourth Years

Lesson 1 - Galilean Moons
Lesson 2 - Saturn
Lesson 3 - Uranus
Lesson 4 - Neptune

Sofia made copies of the Fourth Year Syllabus and placed them on a table she had set up by the door with a note.

"Please take one then find yourself a seat and when the class has arrived we will began"

Sofia sat at her desk waiting for the class to arrive.

Haley walked into the Astronomy class and took a syllabus at professor Slytherin's command. She then walked up to one of the comfy chairs and sat down, gazing at the stars above her. She did so until the class started.

Sofia smiled when she watched Ms. Smith walk into the classroom.

"Hello Ms. Smith, did you enjoy your summer?"

Sofia always like Haley, she was one of her favorite students.

Haley smiled at Sofia and though her summer had been tough, as it had been the first whole one without her parents, she had had a lot of fun with her training and flying around as an eagle. She loved her animagic form. And she was finally starting to get the hang of how to keep the lightning at bay.

"I did. It was a bit weird, no parents and all, but I managed to have fun despite that," she said. She had never had any problems talking to Sofia, she was so kind to Haley, and mostly everyone around. But Haley still remembered the time when Sofia fought against that man from Durmstrang during the End of the Year Ball, so she knew that messing with her was a fatal mistake.

"How about you? How was your summer?" Haley asked curiously.

Sofia had to smile when she asked about her summer, no one would ever no what happened during her summer and hopefully no one would know that something in Sofia had changed either.

"I had a very interesting summer." Sofia smiled.

"Well since it doesn't see that anyone else will be joining us, can you tell me what you know about the Galilean Moons?"

Haley understood that Sofia didn't want to talk about her holidays and simply nodded and smiled. "Good," she said happily.

She then listened closely to what Sofia was asking and then nodded. "I know that there are four and they were discovered by Galileo Galilei. They belong to the planet of either Jupiter or Saturn," she said softly, hoping she wasn't wrong. The first part she knew to be right, but she wasn't a hundred percent sure about Jupiter or Saturn; she kept mixing them up.
