Lesson Three - Fourth Years Empty Lesson Three - Fourth Years

Post by Raven 'The Sweeney' Drake Tue Jul 10, 2012 1:12 am

Raven was more than happy when she saw that there were some of the wraiths from Halloween still lurking around the castle from the Halloween ball, they had managed to make Christmas a scary occassion too if you happened to bump into one on the way back from one of the feasts.

With a small growl Raven looked at the classroom door, she was currently throwing razors against it as a sort of dartboard and she didn't want it to open for the students, with a small frown she slammed it open and put Steven the Skull on the bottom as a door stop.

Today they were going to be doing some actual work, if they could be bothered to pull their fingers out, writing the topic on the board she waited for the students to arrive;

Wraiths. On Christmas. Just spectacular. Dmitra walked towards the Potions classroom, absently wondering just how psycho Raven Drake could get. Then she saw razors on the classroom door, and a skull resting against it, and just decided to stop wondering altogether.

Dmitra walked inside, and looked at the board. Draught of Peace, oh she had brewed this one before. Quietly, she made her way over to her seat and sat down.

Raven blinked as she saw that there was only one student in her class and she stood up suddenly from her chair, picking up a large clay jar and rummaging around inside it for a few moments before placing five finger bones on the desk in front of Dmitra.

"Five housepoints to Muhe for bothering to turn up Diamante." she said in a rather bored, and detached manner "You will get more if you can tell me three ingredients in this potion."

She looked at the girl in front of her and she waited for the answer to the question that she had just asked, hopefully she would at least be competant enough to answer the question.

She was alone. In the Potions classroom. With Raven Drake. Dmitra absently wondered if Professor Drake would kill her just for amusement, then realized that she would probably find it a waste of time. Which brought her back to the question at hand, which was better to answer as quick as possible just in case Dmitra's hypothesis was wrong and Professor Drake did decide to kill her after all.

"Three ingredients: powdered moonstone, porcupine quills and syrup of hellebore." Then deciding to add some extra info just in case. "Valerian root and unicorn horn are some other ingredients. The potion emits a silvery vapour if correctly made."

Raven nodded her head when Dmitra decided to give her the answers that she wanted, they were all correct too, and she was more than a little surprised, a slow twisted grin appearing on her lips as she thought about the student in front of her.

She seemed to be more than dedicated to the art of potion making if she had studied the ingredients beforehand, perhaps she had even made the potion before?

"All correct child, 15 points to Muhe." Raven chuckled darkly "Since this potion isn't remotely interesting to me, you can choose to brew it on your own or not. I don't really care."

Picking up one of her razors, Raven grinned and tossed it at the back of the closed door, hitting a bullseye on the target board drawn in blood on the back of the door.

"Lesson dismissed."
