Airen smiled happily when Charlotte kissed him and thanked him. He walked up to the cashier and paid for the sweets. He bid the person a nice day and left a generous tip for them in the tip jar. Offering Charlotte his arm, he gestured outside.

"Would you care for a walk?" he suggested.

Airen smiled fondly at the memory of his aunt. She had helped him cope with the death of so many of his comrades. She would comfort him when he would first have nightmares of that tragic night. He loved her like the mother he never really knew.

"She'll be glad just to meet you," he comforted, laying a hand on her shoulder.

Charlotte looked outside, the weather was lovely and there seemed to be a happy atmosphere around the village of Hogsmeade, it seemed like it would be the perfect day to go out for a walk, and it would be made even better by having Airen accompany her.

"I would love to go for a walk," she grinned, picking up her sweets and placing them in her bag with a light laugh, before looking outside to where Hannibal seemed to be ready and waiting for them to get going once more "As long as you dont mind Hannibal coming with us."

With a small blush on her cheeks, Charlotte smiled broadly;

"I hope so! I would feel so rude though, showing up at her home without bringing her a gift for the trouble." she pouted gently.

Airen looked over at Hannibal. The vulture cawed once and flapped his wings, signaling he was ready to move elsewhere. He smiled at Charlotte and nodded his head in assurance. "He's more than welcome to come along," he said, a smile on his face. He placed his candies into a separate bag and offered his arm to Charlotte.

"Shall we?" he asked.

Airen smirked good-naturedly. It was clear that Charlotte was a very giving person. That's one of the reasons why he fell for her. She always put others before herself.

"Meeting you will be enough of a gift for her. Trust me," he said, kissing her softly.

Charlotte happily wrapped her arm around Airens and she huggled it tightly to her, she loved simply holding his arm, it was so strong it made her feel even safer being around him, the threat of being attacked almost constant now after that last huge battle.

"We shall indeed, maybe we should walk up by the Shrieking Shack, have you ever been in there yourself?" she asked, her eyes lighting up at the topic of the haunted building "I think it would be interesting to go in and see if the rumours are true!"

Giving Airen a quick peck on the cheek Charlotte blushed lightly before giggling, she was glad that Airen's Auntie seemed to be such a nice person, it made her less nervous than she was before she had heard a lot about her personality.

"I'm glad, I am a little bit nervous about meeting her though, I want to make a good first impression."

Airen strolled casually out of HoneyDuke's. He smiled as the sun shone brilliantly on the green grass and how there was a calm breeze on the air to counter the heat. He always cherished these moments because he never knew when the moment would vanish.

"No, I haven't been there. You?" he asked curiously.

Airen smiled at how nervous Charlotte was about making a good impression with his aunt. He hugged her closer to him. "You'll be fine. My aunt always gets to know a person before she gives her opinion about them," he reassured her.

Charlotte could see that Airen was looking around at the beautiful weather and she couldn't help but smile to herself, he did look handsome when he was thinking like that she thought, unable to shake the train of thought until he spoke.

"No I haven't been there, would you want to go for a walk near there, just so we can see it?" she asked, excited "I'm always too scared to go on my own."

Hugging Airen back as he wrapped his arms around her, Charlotte nuzzled her head against his chest, before she grinned up at him and held his hand in her own as they continued walking along Hogsmeade's main road.

"How long am I coming to stay for? I don't want to be rude and stay too long after all."

Airen thought about what the Shrieking Shack would be like. It couldn't be too bad. He had heard that it had a secret passage somewhere, but he didn't feel like exploring too much. There was still plenty of light out, so they could explore without getting spooked.

"Sure, I don't mind walking near it," he said with a smile and a gentle shrug. He smiled a little and added, "Well, now you don't have to."

Airen smiled and pecked the top of her head as she nuzzled against his chest. He kept them walking. When she looked up at him, he kissed her softly.

"As long as you want. We love to have guests over," he replied.

Charlotte clapped her hands happily when Airen told her that she was going to actually be able to go and see the shack, maybe once she had been near there she would be able to go on her own and do some painting of the insides and things like she had wanted to.

"Oh thank you Airen!" she grinned widely "I am so happy that I can finally go and see it, I don't know why but I always get spooked whenever I start to walk up to it even, I know the stories aren't true so I don't know why."

Giggling a little at her own silliness, Charlotte returned the kiss that Airen gave her and she blushed lightly;

"W-well I wouldn't want to impose on you and your aunt for too long, I guess I'll ask Cobie what he wants." Charlotte smiled gently, and when Hannibal cawed and landed on her shoulder she laughed and poked him on the beak "Well and what Hannibal wants too of course."

Airen smiled at how happy Charlotte was at a the fact that she could now go to the Shrieking Shack. He idly wondered why but figured that it was because a lot of the other students went there, and she didn't want to feel left out or something. He may be wrong, but he wouldn't push.

"You're most welcome," Airen replied, a similar grin on his face. He listened as she told him about why she hadn't gone before. "I think it's because that there are so many stories that it makes it feel real," he commented.

Airen smiled at Charlotte's politeness. She was always so sweet and kind to others, often putting them before herself.

"That's all right," he said, kindly. He wrapped his arms around her in a comforting hug. "My aunt will understand."

Charlotte happily thought about what she was going to find at the shrieking shack, she hoped that she wasn't going to be disappointed by what she was going to find when she approached the Shrieking Shack, if it was just a creaky old building she wasn't going to be impressed with it.

"I think that might be right, they just sort of play on your mind, wether they are actually real or not, and the more you think about them the more they seem like they're true." she thought, tapping her chin lightly as she did so.

Hugging Airen back nice and tightly, Charlotte smiled wider and snuggled her head into his chest, she was glad that him and his Aunt actually wanted to see her during the holiday as well.

"Thanks Air, your aunt sounds really nice." she smiled gently "Do you have any plans for anything to do with your aunt this summer?"

Airen remembered when he was little and was staying with his aunt for the summer, he had watched a movie that had a psycho killer in it. He was so afraid after that. He wouldn't even be caught outside after dark, for fear of one of them lurking in the shadows.

"I know what you mean. When I was little, I saw a movie with a psycho killer. I was so afraid for weeks after that. The more I thought about it, the more I feared it, but my friends helped me get over my fear," Airen said, his face falling a little at the mention of his friends.

Airen smiled as Charlotte snuggled deeper into him. He often found himself wondering what would have happened if that night had turned out better. He wouldn't have met Charlotte, so he concluded that things turned out for the better in that area.

"She is really nice. I think she's trying to start a hotel business or something, but I'm not sure," he said shrugging. "I think she may come visit me here for the summer."

Charlotte made a small face when she heard that Airen had been so scared of a muggle movie that he hadn't even wanted to be outside, she half wanted to know what this movie was so that she could either watch it herself or plain stay away from it.

"I haven't watched many muggle movies, but I'm not sure if being scared about a film would make me want to watch it more or make me want to stay away from it!" she gasped her mind reeling from all the horrible things the film could be about.

Hugging Airen tightly to her once more as they walked she giggled happily; "We're walking while hugging, what an achievement, I would have thought I would have fallen over."

When Charlotte heard that Airen's auntie was opening up a hotel, Charlotte grinned widely; "Then she is going to need some art for the hotel, which of course if she want's I will paint for her, she sounds like she would be good at running a hotel."

Airen nodded his head at the rational. The Swordmage Academy, and indeed his own home, blended muggle and wizarding culture into their own. Magic was still important, but it wasn't viewed as superior to muggle technology. He was surprised at how little wizards appreciated muggles.

"When you visit, I can always ask my aunt to let us have a movie night. She has quite the collection of muggle films. You can see for yourself what you like and don't like," he offered. He liked sharing his life with others, however few they may be.

Airen smiled and just hugged her tighter to him. He decided to continue this little facade. "Shall I document this for the world records?" he asked jokingly.

"She isn't planning on doing it just yet. There's all the property to renovate and build upon. We're planning on saving up before we do anything, but we'll let you know when we need an artist's touch," he replied.

Charlotte happily nodded her head and she smiled when Airen offered to have a movie night when she came to visit him, it was nice to think that she was going to be able to indulge in some of the things that she just couldn't do at home, Cobalt was never interested in watching muggle films so they didn't.

"I think I would like that very much!" she smiled gently "Well, what's your favourite film then Airen, do you like horror films, comedy films or actiony films?" she asked with an excited intensity to her eyes.

Nodding her head Charlotte pretended to look all regal and important, holding her head up high; "Why of course, not just anyone can achieve sheer awesome like this. It needs to be documented." she laughed gently, unable to keep a straight face.

With a small blush Charlotte nodded her head and smiled softly; "Of course, sorry I kind of got ahead of myself there didn't I?" she laughed lightly.

Airen smiled when Charlotte accepted his offer. He loved spending time with her, and then there was the movies they could watch. She may want to experience all of them, and he truthfully didn't mind. When she asked about what he liked, he thought about the movies he had seen and liked and what they had in common.

"Well, I like those action films with thick plots and long fight scenes. What about you?" he inquired. He thought that most girls like those romantic-comedies, which he just couldn't stand for the most part. There were a few he liked, but they were few and far between.

Airen laughed with Charlotte at their little joke. He clutched his sides lightly. He smiled at all the good that had come into his life.

"It's okay. I did kinda send that message," he admitted bashfully.

Charlotte smiled gently when she thought of all of the films that she had ever seen, or read the back of and meant to see, and although it was strange she had to admit that her favourite films was something that she never normally would have enjoyed in a real life situation.

"Uhm, I guess I like horror films, I've not watched any but I read the back of a few and they seemed like the type of thing that I would be interested in watching." she grinned "Who'd have guessed you'd like action films?" Charlotte teased.

Seeing him laughing so hard at their joke made Charlotte smile softly, and she shook her head lightly, blinking when she heard a familiar alarm going off in her pocket, it was her phone, apparently she had a text from someone.

Flicking it open she saw it was Cobie, asking her where she was.

"You know, I swear he only bought me this phone so he could check where I was, Cobie I mean." she smiled gently "I might have to go home depending on what he replies with, but...but we'll see each other soon right? At the Christmas Ball?"

Airen raised a curious eyebrow at Charlotte's answer. He would've never pegged her as the type to like horrors. He never really liked the horror films, but maybe now that he was older, he could watch a few. When he was younger, he made the mistake of watching The Village. He had nightmares about it for the following two weeks.

"Really? I never would've thought you liked horror films. You just seem too sweet and kind to like that sort of thing," he replied, voicing his thoughts. He wrapped an arm around her shoulders. "Not that I mind," he added, smiling and kissing her on the head. He chuckled at her teasing of him.

Airen looked over as Charlotte as she pulled out her phone. He felt a bit saddened by the fact that she had to go back, but he could manage.

"Of course. Consider it a date," Airen replied with a wink. He kissed her softly.

Charlotte could see that Airen was surprised when she told him that she liked horror films, it was something that she didn't really understand, but she supposed what had happened when she was younger, meant that she focused more on the plot, and less of the gore and nastiness, because she was used to it.

"I just think that some of the films seem really cool, I like...what are they called again, those zombie sorts of films." she offered with a small smile on her lips "They're horror films aren't they?"

Her phone pinged again and she opened up the message, Cobalt apparently had tea on the table and wanted her back home, with an apologetic smile Charlotte gave Airen a soft kiss on the lips, a tad longer than usual before giving him a hug.

"I have to go, but I'll see you in school!" she grinned "I have to start on my dress for the ball!" Charlotte smiled.

Airen nodded as she explained why she liked the horror films and the zombie ones in particular. He could understand the reasoning. Sure it would take a bit of getting used to the fact that the sweet and kind Charlotte liked zombie films, but he felt that he could manage.

"That makes sense," Airen agreed. "I think that's their category. Perhaps we can rent a zombie film when you come over. If you don't like it, then we can always watch something else," he suggested.

His face fell a bit when she said that she had to go, but his mood was lightened considerably when she kissed him. He returned the gesture, wishing that she didn't have to go. He released her and nodded his agreement.

"Until next we meet, milady," Airen said, kissing her once more before making his way to the Black Lake for bait of relaxation. He turned and waved at Charlotte once more.

Charlotte smiled happily and she made her way back into the village, she needed ot use the floo grate there to get back to the bakery in Ireland, and she didn't like to leave Airen, it made her more than a little sad and she couldn't help but sigh gently as she turned and walked away.

As soon as the holidays were done they would be seeing each other again, who knows, maybe they could even meet up for a new years eve party? With that thought in her mind she wandered into the Three Broomsticks and promptly made her way back home.
