Tides Turning (Charlie and Marcus)
Marcus sat behind his desk in his room, writing on a piece of parchment in the light of only a single candle. He had been struck by inspiration for a piece of poetry from a nightmare that had woken him up about an hour ago. He glanced at his watch. It was two in the morning.
He lifted his fountain pen from the parchment for a moment as he thought about Charlie. Normally if she was going to visit him she would have already arrived. But then again, he thought in a rather depressed way, she hadn't been visiting him much these days. It was like she felt she had something more important to do than to be with him.
Sighing a little bit, Marcus turned his thoughts back to the particularly bleak piece of poetry he was writing. He might not fully agree with it anymore but it certainly sold well enough if it was depressing enough.

Re: Tides Turning (Charlie and Marcus)
Charlie walked through the streets surrounding the area of Marcus' house, they were very pleasant houses but they were full of humans, something that this newly changed Charlie, couldn't stand one little bit, and she smelt them everywhere she went.
Growling a little bit as a homeless man attempted to ask her for change, Charlie's red glowing eyes were enough to scare the man away in the dark, if not the threats that they would soo find their throat stuck in her teeth would have done the job.
Knocking on Marcus' door, Charlie then let herself in and she wandered through the corridors until she found Marcus up, writing poetry by candlelight, a flicker of annoyance that he wasn't yet a vampire flooded through her and she growled a little bit.
Calming herseld down she smiled at Marcus and walked over to him slowly; "Well hello there stranger."

Re: Tides Turning (Charlie and Marcus)
Marcus heard the knock at his door before the door was opened anyway and he knew exactly who was at his door. After all, only Charlie ever visited him. He was a recluse as far as the rest of the world was concerned.
Turning to the door, he smiled a little bit at her. When she growled though his smile fell. She growled at him. Marcus knew enough about vampires to know that growling meant a certain amount of either hatred or distain. To know that Charlie thought of him that way made him sink into his chair,
"Hello Charlie." he whispered quietly, "You don't sound too happy. What's the matter?"

Re: Tides Turning (Charlie and Marcus)
Charlie knew that she might have to attempt to warm Marcus up to the idea of becoming a vampire, so growling at him was hardly going to help the situation, tilting her head to one side, she knelt down on the back of the chair and wrapped her arms about his shoulders.
Seeing him look more than a little upset, Charlie kissed Marcus' lips softly, turning his head to look at her in the eyes, her new, rather crimson vampire eyes and she smiled gently;
"Something happened to me a few days ago, that made me realise what I had long forgotten, which was my hatred for humanity." Charlie whispered gently "To that end I've come to ask you something today, and I hope you will consider it."

Re: Tides Turning (Charlie and Marcus)
Marcus was not in the mood to be growled at, a type of vampire insult to his understanding, by someone he hadn't seen in almost a month. He hadn't heard anything from Charlie and yet here she was now growling at him. And yet he was still so very happy to see her. It was all rather confusing. Would probably make a good poem.
He sighed a little bit when Charlie kissed him, giving her a faint smile now that she was showing him something positive. Her eyes were crimson. It was something he had not seen in Charlie before but he'd seen in other vampires. It was something that happened when a vampire gorged themselves on blood, taking more than what they just needed to survive. He'd never thought he'd see it in Charlie's eyes,
"You've come here to tell me that you hate humanity and, by extension, me?" he asked her quietly, "I can't deny you anything it seems though. What did you come to ask me Charlie?"

Re: Tides Turning (Charlie and Marcus)
Charlie shook her head when Marcus said that she by extention hated him as well, she didn't hate him at all because she knew that he was nothing like the majority of humans, selfish, cold and unfeeling towards others, bias and prejudice.
The problem was telling him that, in a way that wouldn't upset him.
"Marcus you know that I could never hate you, I love you very much Marcus, I know you're different to all of the other humans that are living and breathing in this world and for that I am so very grateful."
Nuzzling her head against his neck Charlie kissed Marcus' cheek and locked gazes with him;
"There are things I havent been entirely honest about Marcus and you must forgive me for that, I promise that I will tell you everything tonight, regardless of what choice you make, but, I want very much for you to join me as a vampire, if you still feel thats something you want."
