Lesson Four - Third Years Empty Lesson Four - Third Years

The Doctor was scowling, something that was rarely ever seen on his usually calm and collected self. He was still working through peace talks with the British, going straight to meetings after his class and it wasn't going too well. He sighed a little bit as he sat down.

"hello, professor. " Annika smiled as she entered the room, anxious to finish the discussion from last time. Then she noticed that he wasn't smiling, or anything really that he usually did. Hoping against hope that he would cheerup a bit when class started, she took her seat and began looking at her notes from last class.

He took a deep breath before slowly releasing it. The Doctor shook his head a little bit as he moved up to the board and began to draw a rune which consisted of three triangles with their points touching,

"This rune has been used before in muggle society." he turned to them, "I means almost the same thing in muggle society and looks alike as well. I'll give you a hint as to what symbol I am referring to... it can be found on barrels of nuclear waste."

"Well, sir, I"m not exactly sure of the correct meaning. But I know it means it's dangerous, and has something, I think, to do with nuclear energy some-some such thing. I saw it in big cities when we went on holiday, but Mama couldn't quiet explain it. How do the muggles use it differently than we do?"

Annika was almost embarrassed because of her obvious lack of common knowledge. She just hoped that the professor would be patient with her. Living in a small farming community she didn't see a lot of that kind of thing.

Quickly she got out her quill to write the correct answer when it was given.
