Lesson Two

[Briony Romain]

Briony had decided that she was going to wing this lesson that she was about to do, the ball had been going for a while last night and she was completely shattered, it wasn't as good as the Hogwarts Ball had been but it still had alcohol and was quite nice.

Sighing Briony clutched a cup of tea and nursed her headache with several spoonfuls of potions, waiting for her class to arrive.

[Airen Auditoren]

Airen entered the classroom. He'd had a rather fun time last night. He went to bed late, but somehow still woke up at five in the morning. Needless to say, he was rather tired.

"Hello, professor," he greeted his Italian accent heard clear as day.

Briony smiled softly as Airen walked into the classroom, he was the only student who had turned up last time but she decided it would be nice to give others the chance to turn up to her class if they were a bit detained.

"Hello Airen! How are you today?"

She asked with a kindly smile, showing that she wasn't evil all the time, just most of it.

"Enjoy the ball?"

Jaden walked into the classroom and threw himself into the nearest chair, thankfully it was right at the back of the class so hopefully nobody would notice him.

Duelling

He had to remind himself why he was actually here. He let his eyes wander around the dim walls, there wasn't much to look at but at least it made it look like he was doing something.

Briony smirked as she saw the two boys now ready to begin duelling she knew that they didn't have much lesson time left however so she stood up and without further ado began to teach them, first of all they would have to learn theory, there wasn't enough time for a match.

"Hello students, right, today we're just going to be covering what we're going to be doing in the course of these lessons, today we're going to be illustrating different types of weapons, next lesson you will pick your own based on your strengths and weaknesses, then the last lesson, you will duel each other. Any questions?"

Waiting for a moment Briony nodded and illustrated the weapons mounted on the different walls of the room, all in their groups.

"Now, these are short range weapons such as swords, maces and daggers, however, some of these may also be throwing weapons such as the dagger.

On this wall you have projectiles, spears, arrows, crossbows, all things like this, I do not however reccommend the spear, only good for one use and easy for your opponent to dodge.

And here you have long range weapons such as the long staffs, and several explosives such as bombs and grenades, also a few muggle guns for your delectation, Ak 47 and an RPG, whatever they are."

Then turning to address the class Briony said:

"That's it for today, make notes, and make sure you're here next lesson. Ten points to Gryffindor for actually showing up you two."

With that Briony dismissed the class.
