Lesson Two - First Years Empty Lesson Two - First Years

Post by Cobalt Smith Fri Dec 30, 2011 2:23 am

This time, Cobalt was stood in front of his class, awaiting the last few members to arrive. Most of the class were talentless nobodies who were only here because they were both german and slightly magical. There were only a few that stood out. Regardless, today's lesson focus was written on the blackboard in chalk.

Muggle Stealth.

Lesson Two - First Years Empty Re: Lesson Two - First Years

Valentina slipped into the lesson and saw that she was the first there once more, it was truly annoying the lack of attendance and it was beginning to unnerve her the way that things seemed so empty around here, where were all the students?

Sighing she sat at the front with a small smile at the professor. Getting out her parchment and quill she waited for the rest of the class to arrive.

Lesson Two - First Years Empty Re: Lesson Two - First Years

Charlotte couldn't wait for her fathers next class, nevermind being interesting she got to be around her father and him to act completely differently because he had to be professional, it was both odd and slightly funny to her.

Opening the door to the classroom Charlotte smiled at Valentina and moved to sit in the seat next to her with a large smile at her father. Then Charlotte settled, got out her materials, and waited for the class to begin.

Cobalt looked at his two students for a few moments before shrugging. Wasn't his fault if this was an elective class after all. Meant there weren't going to ever be that many students. He clapped his hands to get their attention,

"Alright class, today we're going to focus on the way muggles try to act stealthily." he smiled a little as he sat on the edge of his desk, "What suits muggle sneaking better... night or day?"

Lesson Two - First Years Empty Re: Lesson Two - First Years

Charlotte smiled as the class began and thought that the question that her father posed was rather difficult, after all to anyone who thought about it with the use of camoflage there was a good basis to sneak in the daytime...

Raising her hand she decided to hesitate an answer.

"Although it is a hard question with different elements of muggle technology such as desert camouflage and also the use of night vision, i believe the answer could be the night."

Cobalt turned to his daughter when she put her hand up to put forward an answer. He was interested in what her answer would be when she had obviously picked up some of his knowledge just from the way he spoke at home about his work,

"The answer is, as you correctly stated, night." he congratulated her before nodding towards another slytherin girl, Valentina, "Can you tell me the disadvantages of sneaking at night if you are a muggle?"

Lesson Two - First Years Empty Re: Lesson Two - First Years

It was at this point that Briony slipped into the lesson, just to see I'd the professors that she had left were actually doing their jobs as it would seem that even they were beginning to slack off in their duties as of late. She knew however that Professor Smith wouldnt let her down and she smiled swiftly at him, that brief tugging up of her lips that swiftly vanished again.

Taking a seat she smiled and waited for the class to begin again, sending a small thought into Cobalts mind instead of disrupting verbally.

'Dont mind me, I'm just checking up on the staff.'

Valentina was just about to answer when she heard the door open and the Headmistress slip in, blushing a little and realising that this answer was going to have to be very good she gulped slightly and clasped her hands on her lap.

"An advantage could be decreased visibility so they're not easily seen, also, could it be lack of interference intended or otherwise from civillians who will all be asleep or in houses when nightfall comes?"

Hoping the answer was right Valentina blushed slightly more.
