Lesson Two - First Years Empty Lesson Two - First Years

Post by Richard Romain Fri Dec 30, 2011 2:27 am

Richard was idly drumming his fingers against the wood of his desk but that happened to be the only indication that he was actually alive. He had gotten so bored in waiting for his class that he'd rested his head on the table so that he was staring at the woodwork. Then he'd brought his breathing under tight enough control that it appeared that he wasn't breathing at all.

Hence, the only sign of life was him drumming his fingers on the desk.

Lesson Two - First Years Empty Re: Lesson Two - First Years

Rushing into the class Charlotte placed her things at her desk, swooping her hair back from her face as she sat at her desk and waited for the lesson to begin but that was before she had seen the fact that the professor wasn't moving very much.

"Sir? Sir are you okay?"

Biting her lip Charlotte stood up and moved to tap Professor Romain on the shoulder, hoping that all the covering classes hadn't gotten him ill.

Lesson Two - First Years Empty Re: Lesson Two - First Years

Richard woke up properly with a small start and he looked around as he rubbed the sleep from his eyes. He smiled at Charlotte,

"Yeah... yeah I'm fine." he told her with a voice that attempted to sound happy but just sounded tired, "Are you ready to *yawn* learn?"

He yawned again before shaking his head to clear it, standing up as he did so. Taking out his wand, he flicked it downwards once,

"Corpus." he delcared clearly. A small line of wood appeared in the air where he'd flicked his wand, "Simple conjuration. Say the incantation, 'Corpus', and flick or slash your wand to direct where you want the wood to be conjured."

Charlotte was glad when Richard woke up and she smiled softly, it was going to be a good lesson seemed that it was going to be just them this lesson so she would get lots of help with the spell if she did in fact need them.

"Yes, I'm ready to learn."

Smiling she moved to her desk and watched the Professor perform the spell and the wood appear in the air, maybe she would be taught how to make metal in the air, it would be a good shield.

"Okay, let's try it out." frowning in concentration Charlotte muttered "Corpus" and moved her wand down through the air. There was nothing. Frowning she did the spell again and this time a piece of wood appeared and she cheered.

"I did it!"

Lesson Two - First Years Empty Re: Lesson Two - First Years

A person would have thought having both parents that attended Hogwarts that Tabi would know her way around like the back of her hand, but apparently that was not the case. She had gotten herself turned around in the halls and ended up being late for her transfiguration class.

Tabi not being one to panic just strolled into the classroom like she was one time. As she got into the classroom all she noticed was the teacher and one other student so she tried and quietly as she could to sit in the closet desk which happened to be in the back of the room. But instead of being quiet the desk made a noise as if to let the teacher know someone had gotten into their seat after the bell.

"What the heck was that noise?" Tabi thought out loud without even realising it.
