Lesson Two - First Years
Richard Romain was covering yet another lesson and he was not best pleased. To be perfectly honest the only reason he was doing so was because his wife, the Headmistress, had asked him to. That and he didn't want to see her even more overworked. So here he was in the Divination Classroom, waiting for his class to show up. Or, he hoped, the actual professor of the subject.
Re: Lesson Two - First Years
Valentina tumbled into the classroom, there hadn't been a divination last time and she was quite excited to see what it was all about, of course if it was simply a load of old hokum she wouldn't be continuing in her studies later on.
"Hello again Professor."
Slumping a little at the sight of Professor Romain, again, Valentina sat down on one of the seats and waited for the class to begin, but couldn't resist a but of conversation.
"The Professors are idiots hmmm? Is that why you're covering so many?"

Re: Lesson Two - First Years
Richard looked up at one of the students who seemed to be taking EVERY class he was teaching apart from his actual subject. He waved at her lazily,
"Yo." he greeted her simply. At her rather blatant insult to the other teachers, Richard snorted before shrugging, "Pretty much I'm afraid. Either that or they're off ill for this lesson. Or drunk. Or whatever the heck it is a divination teacher does when not... divining..."
He shrugged a little bit before yawning,
"Alright then, might as well start." he draw a picture of a wolf's head on the board, "Can you tell me what symbol this is?"

Valentina shrugged her shoulders and sighed, thinking this lesson might not be as good as she thought it was going to be, smiling she looked at the professor when he got started on the lesson and she blinked a little at the symbol.
"Well it's a wolfs head...but beyond that I really don't know."
Slumping a little Valentina realised that her practical mind might not be the best thing for Divination, she could learn the symbols and there meanings but beyond that...?
