Lesson Three - Fourth Years Empty Lesson Three - Fourth Years

Post by Richard Romain Sun Sep 09, 2012 12:49 am

Richard sighed a little bit as he paced up and down in front of his desk, frowning hard as he did so. The situation with Briony was getting worse. She was getting darker and darker. The ball was the lightest thing she'd done for awhile now and it was getting to be a problem. Richard was going to have to take action, to change her back to how she had been.

Lucas entered the room and sat on his usual seat. He noticed the professor pacing up and down; there seemed to be a problem. He didn't ask him what, though, and he instead waited for class to start.

Richard looked out over his class and was a little disappointed at the size of it. He had hoped against hope that there would be more pupils in his lessons after the winter break but they were the same size as ever. To this end he decided to make quality over quantity the name of the game,

"Alright class we're doing a quiz." he told them simply, "Ten house points to the person who can tell me how to destroy a diamond without any magic."

Lucas raised his hand and stood up once the professor asked the question. "Well, I guess you could heat it over a 100 degrees and place it in liquid oxygen," he said, quite unsure.

He sat down once more and waited to see Professor Romain's reply. He did hope he was correct; Gryffindor was tied with Ravenclaw at the moment, and he wanted to gain some more points for his House.
