Lesson Three - Fifth Years Empty Lesson Three - Fifth Years

Post by Cobalt Smith Sun Sep 09, 2012 12:56 am

Cobalt sat behind his desk, sipping his coffee as he did so. On the table in front of him were some special documents written in an ink that could only be seen by those with his magical core signal. Since no one but he had that signal, only he could read it. As it was it was just reports written in code so no one else would be able to read it anyway.

Lesson Three - Fifth Years Empty Re: Lesson Three - Fifth Years

Post by Haley Vilde Smith Sun Sep 09, 2012 7:50 pm

Haley walked into the infiltration classroom, sitting down in the front. Smith seemed to be pretty caught up in some document of a kind, but she didn't say anything, thinking he would be much too busy to read it than to be interrupted right now. So she simply took out her book, that she had never used in these lessons, and her wand, that she pretty much always used. Wow, she really did love infiltration.

Humphrey entered the Infiltration classroom with a smile on his face, this was definitely one of his favorite lessons. Professor Smith always knew how to make it interesting, and they normally got to use magic as well. Taking a seat next to Haley, he took out his book, even though they rarely used it. Their teacher seemed to be absorbed in his papers, so he just sat waiting patiently.

Lesson Three - Fifth Years Empty Re: Lesson Three - Fifth Years

Post by Charlotte Smith Mon Sep 10, 2012 5:34 am

Charlotte hurried to her class, she thought that she was going to be late! Ever since her break up with Airen, she had felt mixed emotions, and on top of everything else she had wanted little more than to snuggle up in the Slytherin Common room and sleep.

It seemed to be the only time that she wasn't worrying about her best friend, and now ex boyfriend. Charlotte hoped above all else he wouldn't chide and shun her now, after all, she cherished him dearly as a friend.

Distractedly she took out her equipment and looked idlly at the lesson topic on the board, not really in the right frame of mind for lessons at this moment in time.

Lesson Three - Fifth Years Empty Re: Lesson Three - Fifth Years

Post by Airen Auditoren Mon Sep 10, 2012 10:17 pm

Airen entered the classroom. He had been a bit bummed out by the break up between him and Charlotte, but he remembered their first year. Specifically, a certain promise he had made. Now not being one to break promises, he decided that, although he still had feelings for Charlotte that went beyond that of best friends, he would be there for her still.

He sat down in his usual seat next to Charlotte and sent her a warm smile, signifying to her that he was still her friend. He took out his notes and got ready for their class. This semester was going to be different to say the least.

Cobalt looked out over his class and was a little disappointed at the size of it. He had hoped against hope that there would be more pupils in his lessons after the winter break but they were the same size as ever. To this end he decided to make quality over quantity the name of the game,

"Alright class we're doing a quiz." he told them simply, "Ten house points to the person who can tell me what time of day the sun will help you avoid detecting against an eastern facing opponent."

Charlotte smiled when she saw Airen come into the classroom and sit next to her, it made her think that she wasn't all on her own after all, and that he did still want to be friends like she had suggested when they had talked about their relationship.

Hearing the Professor ask a question she took a moment to think about it, before raising her hand and answering in a confident manner;

"The morning? Because the sun will be in the East at this time, and if the opponent is also facing that way, he will be distracted by the glare of the sun, and therefore less likely to notice an attacker if concealed, the attacker themselves facing west, so the sun won't blind them also."
