Lesson Three - Fourth Years Empty Lesson Three - Fourth Years

Briony sat down at her desk, flipping a knife between his fingertips by the point, using finely control magic to stop it on her fingertips without ever breaking the skin. She sighed a little bit as she scowled at thin air. The ball had been a success but that damned Leon Becker had been there. It had ruined her whole night.

Lucas entered the room and sat on his usual seat. He sighed and rubbed his eyes as he waited for class to start. He was tired. Extremely.

Briony looked up and she scowled darkly at the one student who had come into her class, she almost wanted to put her fist through the nearest wall and she probably looked like she wanted nothing but to do that as well.

Standing up she gripped her wand in her hand and she thought about how pointless these lessons were, how pointless this school was when none of the students seemed to care! She was so close now...so close to completing her project!

"Today we are learning the spell protego horribilis, what does this spell do?" she asked in a cold and crip manner.

Lucas raised his hand and stood up once the professor asked the question. "Well, the spell is a stronger version of the Shield Charm, and it protects a large area against Dark Magic," he said, quite unsure.

He sat down once more and waited to see Professor Romain's reply. He did hope he was correct; Gryffindor was tied with Ravenclaw at the moment, and he wanted to gain some more points for his House.

Briony nodded her head, not smiling but her expression was lighter than before, she knew that the boy needed some positive sign that he was progressing well in this class after all. Stepping forwards, Briony leant on her desk and she spoke;

"You are correct Lucas, today we will be charming a large object against dark magic, your target for today's lesson is this large wardrobe." she nodded towards the mahogany wardrobe next to the black board "The wand movements are a counterclockwise turn and a sharp flick downwards. Once you have performed the spell I will check to see how effective it has been."
