Lesson One - Sixth Years
Briony sat down behind her desk, trying to look as imperious as possible. It was working too, or she thought it was anyway. She wasn't quite about to summon a mirror in front of herself just to check to see if she was giving the right impression to the students, one of a stern professor. Perhaps they already thought that about her but she was not about to leave that up to chance. She was going to do everything she could to look as stern as possible simply because it would be good if she did, the students would pay much more attention with a teacher who looked like she would scold them severely.
With that it mind she cleared her throat and waited for her class to arrive.

Humphrey entered the Duelling classroom, curious to see how Headmistress Romain was doing. Before the end of last year she had been seeming to get in a worse mood every time he saw her. Hopefully she was back to her cheerful self, but he wasn't sure. Taking a seat at the front of class, he saw a look that clearly meant to say strict professor. Tough to say what her actual mood was, though.
"Hello professor, nice to see you. How was your summer?" he asked. He was eager to start learning again, and duelling always kept them on their toes.

Haley sighed and rose from her bed, taking on her right outfit for the days coming classes. She smiled when she was done, ate a quick bite in the Great Hall and then made for the Duelling lesson. She got there and saw that Humphrey was already there, and so was professor Romain, always the strict one.
Haley walked up to the front and sat down next to Humphrey with a smile, before she turned to the professor. "Good morning, professor," she said courteously. She took out her books and waited for the lesson to commence.
