Lesson One - Sixth Years
Darcie sat down behind her desk, trying to look as imperious as possible. It was working too, or she thought it was anyway. She wasn't quite about to summon a mirror in front of herself just to check to see if she was giving the right impression to the students, one of a stern professor. Perhaps they already thought that about her but she was not about to leave that up to chance. She was going to do everything she could to look as stern as possible simply because it would be good if she did, the students would pay much more attention with a teacher who looked like she would scold them severely.
With that it mind she cleared her throat and waited for her class to arrive. God she was nervous! She hadn't tried this 'stern teacher' part before and was unsure how successful she'd be.

Aquila's mood hadn't improved as of late because of a series of events that had caused her to become sour and un-emotional around other people. The best she could muster was the occasional glare or a half-hearted, completely un-genuine smile.
Aquila moved over to a desk farthest away from everyone else and sat down, frowning at the table as if it had done something to offend her. Despite the fact that she was in her favourite class, she still didn't feel overly happy - though Darcie was the closest thing Aquila had to a friend, even if they didn't talk to each other anymore - and so she managed to smile a little at the lehrer before dropping her gaze again.
