Richard pouted, pretending to be upset about his powers being called uncool. To be honest he preferred it when everyone thought his powers weren't cool or useful. Honestly, how many people expect you to turn the air around them in carbon monoxide so that they die from breathing? None, that's how many,

"Awwww now you're just humouring me." he stuck his tongue out at her, "Ah well, thanks for trying to humour me."

Charlotte's praise made Richard smile a little bit. If he had managed to teach a few kids something good then it was worth the sleepless nights of homework marking and busy days of multiple classes,

"Thanks Char." he nodded with a scowl, "Yes... it wasn't cool for them all to just up and leave like that. I'm still quite angry about that actually... did you know that not one of them told anyone they were going to be leaving?"

Richard smiled wider and looked around, as if expecting to see someone spying on them, before leaning down so that he was at eye level with her,

"Can you keep a secret Char?" he grinned and whispered in her ear, "If your auntie Briony and I can make it when our two countries are at war, you and Airen can make it through seating plans and house rivalries."

Charlotte grinned as she was caught on to, she wasn't very good at lying just yet and hopefully she would learn to improve that, now being a member of the shadow society would require the upmost secrecy.

"You're welcome Uncle Richie."

When Richard told her that all of the professor just kind of up and left Charlotte gasped softly, that was really bad form, you should at least tell your employer you're going to leave, give them notice and such.

"No i didn't know that! That's so bad! You should sue them you know they're supposed to give you notice!"

Looking him in the eye Charlotte nodded swiftly, thinking that she was about to be told some tip top important secret about Hogwarts she was a tad dissappointed with what she was actually told.

"I know that Uncle Richie...oh, no wait! It's not like you and Auntie Briony, we're just friends!"
