Lesson One - Sixth Years Empty Lesson One - Sixth Years

Post by Cobalt Smith Sun Oct 07, 2012 1:46 am

Cobalt frowned a little bit as he sat down behind his desk, trailing his fingers along the wood to feel it, to admire the tecture of it. There were a few marks on the wood that he didn't actually recognise. Perhaps the clearner had hit it when working during the summer? He didn't much care though. The marks would add character to it, making the whole desk more of a part of the room than a piece of frunature.

He chuckled lightly to himself as he moved round to sit in his chair, resting his arms on the desk itself.

Lesson One - Sixth Years Empty Re: Lesson One - Sixth Years

Humphrey entered the Infiltration class, happy to be back. This was one of the more interesting classes he had, and he always looked forward to it. Sitting down, he took out his things, wondering what he'd be teaching them today. It was great to be back at Hogwarts, this place felt more like home to him than anywhere else did.

"Hello professor, how was your summer?" he asked Professor Smith with a smile. The man seemed to be in a pretty good mood today.

Lesson One - Sixth Years Empty Re: Lesson One - Sixth Years

Haley sighed and rose from her bed, taking on her right outfit for the days coming classes. She smiled when she was done, ate a quick bite in the Great Hall and then made for the Infiltration lesson. She got there and saw that Humphrey was already there, and so was professor Smith, looking rather pleased.

Haley walked up to the front and sat down next to Humphrey with a smile, before she turned to the professor. "Good morning, professor," she said courteously. She took out her books and waited for the lesson to commence.

Lesson One - Sixth Years Empty Re: Lesson One - Sixth Years

Post by Charlotte Smith Wed Oct 10, 2012 12:01 am

Charlotte wandered into the classroom her mind was full of excitement for the wedding that she was going to in the Spring, she had only ever been to Richard and Briony's wedding before and she didn't know if this was going to be able to top their wedding, it had been amazing when she had gone after all.

With a small smile on her lips she sat down on the normal seat she took and placed her things out on the table, ready to begin the lesson, looking up at the board she saw the lesson topic and she smiled lightly again, this certainly would prove to be an interesting lesson today.

Smiling a little at the professor she leafed through her textbook.

Cobalt looked at his class of eagerly awaiting students and chuckled to himself slightly. They'd all much rather be doing pretty much anything else right now, that much he knew. He coughed a little bit to gain their attention,

"You've been at this school long enough to know now that the first lesson back is, more often than not, a quiz lesson." he told them simply, "So we're going to have a little quiz on things you should have known for your OWLs last year. Ten points to anyone here who can demonstrate their mastery of the disillusionment charm."
