Jack grew up in Moscow in Russia in a very high-standing family. He was born the 21st of December, one of the coldest nights in Russia, not to mention, the longest. His parents were abusive, but not in the physical way, the mental way. He believed he was no good unless he fought and destroyed the obstacles in his way. This is the only way Jack knows how to live. He fights everyone in his way, and won't stop until his goal is reached.

His real name, Arrinrod Romanova, is a name he left behind when he left Russia for England. He took on the name Jack Snow, because he had a very strong fascination towards the cold, and Jack Frost would too easily be recognized as an alias.

He became a vampire when he was 25 years old, which is 238 years ago. He was bitten by a cold vampire from Transylvania, but no one knows the vampire's name, not even whether it was a man or a woman. Jack holds no grudge, because becoming a vampire gave him the strength to kill his family. He doesn't regret his actions, given the fact that he had some siblings that were killed by his parents. An act of revenge is not uncommon for Jack, and he is an avenger through and through.

He married a human when he had been a vampire for a hundred years. He loved her deeply, but age took her eventually, making him go on alone.
