Wandering about (OPEN)
Thirst. He didn't get it. It was so prominent, even when he had just drunk a bit of blood ten minutes ago. There was no getting away from the thirst. Not even after 200 years. He was the same as always, he didn't get to live like normal people. But he didn't hate being a vampire. No, not at all. It had definite advantages. He didn't get how everyone in muggle and magical vampire movies hated the life of a vampire. Jack loved it.
The speed, the senses that were so enhanced. He still remembered being human. But compared to a vampire's sense of hearing, smell, taste, sight and, without a doubt his favorite, touch, humans were the race that really missed out. The only thing bad with a vampire was that he was always so damned thirsty. Of course, after 200 years, he was used to it, and very good at ignoring it, but only when he was busy.
Currently, Jack had nothing to do. He simply wandered about wondering if anything fun would happen. It wasn't so long ago since he left Russia, left his name, and he didn't miss it for a second, but something somehow lacked. He simply wasn't sure what. Maybe it was the knowledge that Jack Snow wasn't his real name that brought him down? Maybe not. No one could really tell.
He sighed, and sat down by the water nearby. Maybe, if he was lucky, someone would walk over to him, talk with him, distract him. That would be splendid at that moment.

Aurelia had, for the first time in what seemed like decades, been allowed to slip out of the small cottage that she and James shared and to look at the world around her once more, she supposed that was her punishment, her punishment for what she had done to the world, and she was more than willing to accept that.
But being indoors for so long, had begun to drive her crazy. She felt more and more like a trapped bird each day, and the paranoia that the Government was going to trace her down and arrest her weighed more and more on her mind each day simply because it hadn't happened yet, and it was getting more and more likely to happen with each passing day they had to find her.
Looking out over the water at Sailors End, Aurelia wondered how she was going to meet her own end, how she was going to die in this world, how ironic would it be, if it was by a creature? Sighing lightly her eyes flicked sharply when she saw movement and her hand went to her pistol concealed beneath her black trenchcoat.
"Who's there?" she asked in a harsh bark.
