Jacqueline was judged her whole life, by people who knew her last name, by her classmates at Beauxbatons and by her family. She was never good enough any where, always considered a nuisance. People thought she was snotty and bratty like the rest of her family, and her own family were ashamed of how selfless and humble she was, for they considered her 'Not Girard Material', and so she was always that girl in the background, so you could imagine her delight when she was moved to England, where none would judge her based on her last name.
