"Well before being placed I had no clue that blood status mattered, all I heard was what the hat was saying about each house and sort of...tried to tell it I thought I should be in Slytherin..." He smiled a bit back at her, eased knowing she didn't hold her family's prejudices.

He nodded, very thankful, they'd be happy to help him out. Though he definitely did plan to make a trip to the library soon to help him in his school work.

"Hooray!" Humphrey yelled when he was told to put on earmuffs. Mandrakes, it had to be. They were his favorite plant and this was his favorite plant. "Mandrakes! Also known as Mandragora. Are deadly to listen to their cries when they were adults. But they only make you faint when they are young." he explained.
