Richard waved at the gates with a massive grin as he removed Briony's blindfold. It had been a surprise for Briony as to where their second holiday destination was but now it was no longer a surprise. Richard grinned, immensely happy with where they were,

"This is going to be so much fun Briony!" He promised his wife as he pulled her along by her hand to get a pair of day tickets, "Oh there's so much we can do!"

He grinned as he paid the very high prices for the tickets before he and Briony were through the gates. Richard turned to his wife with a childishly happy grin, "Welcome to Disneyland Florida!"

Briony felt as if she had been on a boat ride, but didn't know where the boat rise was going, she had been told where they were going was warm and it was, so she had worn her shortest shorts and a strap ripped tshirt, and still it was boiling.

She stepped off the ride and felt sure that people were staring at her, all in black she thought that it might be the colours and as soon as Richard dropped the blindfold, Briony felt her eyebrow twitch and her anger grow.

What part of her husbands mind thought she would enjoy this?!

She hated children.
She hated muggles.
She hated rides.
She hated crowds.

As a child bumped into her Briony glared after it and was pulled away by Richard before she could pop his balloon for him.

"Why the hell have you brought me here?!" she hissed "Did you think before you made this choice?!"

Walking through the gates Briony had to admit it was an amazing sight, the atmosphere was wonderful and a momentary smile lighted her face, before she was crushed by a crowd and she clutched for Richard.

"Bloody hell. It's a man in a mouse suit calm down!"

As he saw his wife's first reaction to Disneyland, in all it's child-covered glory, he had to control himself to keep from laughing. After all, if he laughed then she'd kill him. But in reality he'd brought her here for more than just to make himself giggle happily. No, he'd brought her here in an attempt to make her less stressed by making her have fun and get in touch with her inner child,

"Now now mein leibling, don't be mean to the kiddies... they're here to have fun just like we are!" he told her with a playful grin as he looped his arm with hers, "Why we're here is simple... it'll be fun Briony! Think of it as a chance to get in touch with your inner child... it's good fun!"

He chuckled as he saw her slight smile. Without exposing his wand, Richard made a notice-me-not field around the two of them so the crowd parted for them, for reasons the muggles were unable to understand,

"Man in a mouse suit?!" he grinned and saw that it was mickie and minnie mouse, "That gives me a great idea Bri! Let's go to one of the gift shops!"

Briony was all for pulling Richards lungs out at this point and her withering look let him know that, there was no way that she was going to be having any sort of fun in this place. Children were everywhere. It was so...so...

Happy.

Almost growling Briony pulled her arm out of Richards and glared at him:

"You're here for a good time, you just dragged me along for the ride, you know I hate crowds there are people freaking everywhere!"

Raising an eyebrow Briony stopped and folded her arms across her chest and tapped her foot lightly on the pavement glaring at the child dressed as Cinderella who came too close: "I have no inner child."

Briony felt like she was about to die as Richard said the words 'Lets go' and 'gift shop' in the same sentence:

"Do you want to humiliate me even further?"

He could tell that Briony wasn't exactly... happy, with him right now but that was fine. He was (reasonably) confidant that she would be having fun by the end of the day but he had to say that it was looking more and more likely that he was also going to be bruised before the end of the day,

"Yes they are but if you noticed, they're not actually coming too close to us anymore due to the charm I put up." he kissed her on the cheek lightly, "Come on Briony... just two rides and if you don't have any fun what so ever we'll move on alright?"

He stuck his tongue out at her,

"Yes you do." he grinned as he tugged her closer to the gift shop, "She's just shy!"

Seeing that Briony wasn't going to budge on this subject, he let go of her arm and told her to stay outside while he rushed in and bought a pair of mickie mouse ears. He grinned as he returned with them on his head,

"Alright!" he pointed towards one of the large rollercoasters, "Let's get on that one!"

Briony rolled her eyes at Richard she didn't care if they came near her the point was that they were there in the first place, she couldn't relax among crowds it was impossible for her, and the heat was getting unbearable.

There was no visible roller coaster that she could see, just a large silver building, 'Space Mountain' it read.

"Space mountain? Really?" sighing slightly and deciding that it might be funner if she actually tried to get along with what Richard wanted her to do, it would be better that way. "Fine."

Briony blinked at her husband wearing ears and tugged them off his head, with a dissaproving glare at the fluffy bits of fabric and she placed them in her jeans pocket.

"Only if you never wear anything like that ever again."

Walking up to the attraction entrance Briony continued into the cooler part of the ride indoors completely ignoring the line of muggles queuing up for the ride:

"Do you have a fast pass?" an annoying boy asked
"Excuse me?" Briony said in a withering tone.

Yes it was actually a lot hotter than he'd expected as well and his wife was wearing black clothes as usual, a colour that attracted heat and light. Seeing that she'd picked the one he'd been looking forward to the most, he grinned,

"Yeah!" he grinned, "They say it's the best rollercoaster in the entire park!"

Chuckling as Briony took his mickie ears from him. It wasn't as if he even liked the ears that much, they were childish and he was damned if Briony was denied the chance to have some childish fun,

"Deal." he said with a smirk, "Thankfully I don't like the ears... they're weird on the head."

Watching the interaction of the annoying little man with his wife with no small degree of amusement, he rolled his eyes at the man, pointing his wand at the man under his clothes,

"Of course we do it righ-Imperio." the colourless spell hit the man and he immediately helped Richard and Briony into the first car of the rollercoaster. The man walked away, dazed. Richard smirked at Briony as the ride prepared to start, "Pros of coming to the resort as a wizard."

Briony blinked slightly, this was a rollercoaster? Indoors? In the dark? She looked at her husband with no disguised hatred and pretended to dig her hand in her pocket for whatever the heck a 'fast pass' was and she grinned as Richard came up behind her and performed the spell.

Muggles could be so idiotic sometimes.

"Thanks love, what an annoying child, don't tell me he's manning this ride? This does nothing for my nerves."

Sitting down in the seat, Briony placed her legs out in front of her and sighed, waiting for the ride to begin with a pounding heart, not liking this unsurity at all.

She had no idea what was about to happen to her and as the ride began to move through the beginning tunnel she took in a deep breath.

"For your sake Richard. This best be enjoyable."

Of course his wife's only display of anything close to happiness in the line had come from the way he'd dealt with the annoying young man. He knew what his wife wanted and what she wanted sometimes was just for some poor muggle to be made the fool. Wasn't hard, the man was pitifully weak mentally,

"Don't mention it my dear." he chuckled a little bit, "His only job is to ask if you have the pass and to make sure you're above the height restriction. Everything else is handled by trained mechanics so don't worry."

Richard wrapped an arm around his wife and held her closely to him as the restraints locked them into their seats. He smiled a little bit and kissed her on the cheek as the ride slowly began to move,

"You realise you had fun when you get off." he grinned a little bit, "For the ride itself... feel free to scream, everyone does."

The ride reached the top of it's slow crawl before tipping over the edge into total darkness, rocketing forwards at insane speeds, the lack of sight making it seem even faster than it actually was. Richard screamed happily, along with half of the people on the rollercoaster, holding Briony tightly to him even as the rollercoaster ended not five minutes later and he helped up up out of it,

"So...? What'd you think?"

Briony felt Richard wrap his arm awkwardly around her, as the seats were single one behind the other and as soon as the ride began to slowly crawl upwards Briony felt a sense of dread rise up inside her, for what comes up must come down.

As soon as the ride levelled out then pointed down Briony gasped and soon afterwards Briony held onto the restraint, knuckles White with the force she was holding on with.

The speed combined with the fact she hadn't a clue where she was going and the sudden drops made Briony afraid and she gave out a few short screams of her own.

When the ride stopped Briony got out hurriedly and glared at her husband: "You b*stard. That was horrible." she shook a little and rested on one of the stands, "Let's never do that again."

He smiled a little bit. Even Briony, perhaps the bravest woman he'd ever met, couldn't help but scream a little bit when on space mountain. It seemed to be a law that you screamed on fast rollercoasters. He wrapped his arms around Briony in a calming hug, knowing that her heart was racing ten to the dozen just as his own was,

"Alright Briony, I know..." he rubbed at her back soothingly, "It really shocks you at first doesn't it? But your heart and adrenaline are racing... when you calm down it'll seem a lot more fun than you feel it was now."

He kissed her gently on the lips,

"Alright babe..." he smiled a little bit, "How about it's a small world?"

Briony felt herself calming down in terms of her heart rate but she was in no way calm at her husband, she just hoped that there would be some sort of ride that she would be able to enjoy here that wasn't bathed in stupid.

"Will it?" she said sarcastically and walked out of the cool shop and into the sun, hissing lightly at the heat Briony walked back inside with a pout.

Looking around she spotted a cooler of drinks and took one out of it, glancing at Richard, "Go on man with the money, lets taste some 'Coca-Cola' it's too hot out there to be without a drink."

Briony raised her eyebrow slightly when he said 'It's a Small World' but it sounded pretty ironic so it might be worth a look, so she nodded and smiled lightly:

"Okay, we'll go there next then."

He could tell that she still wasn't into this whole 'disney' thing yet so he decided that he was just going to have to try harder. Of course it would have helped if he'd ever even heard of the small world ride... it was only his second visit after all,

"Well look at it this way..." he raised an eyebrow at her, faintly amused, "The first time you kill a muggle your heart beats faster than it's ever done before. And every time after that it's a little bit easier."

Richard grinned at the way his wife reacted to the heat. It seemed that his wife wasn't a fan of hot weather. But then again, when it had snowed she'd been less than excited. Maybe she just liked the middle ground? It didn't really matter now anyway,

"Yes, yes, I've got it." he paid for the two drinks and opened his own cold can. He sipped some of it happily as he led his wife towards the next ride, "Never been on this ride before... but it looks to be something we can redicule."

Briony rolled her eyes, her husband had a weird talent for bringing things up that didn't need to be brought up, honestly talking about killing muggle around muggles themselves? That was hardly a smart idea now.

"Maybe you're right, but that would be doing something I enjoy, as opposed to something my no good husband just forced me to do." she grinned showing she was joking.

Taking the bottle of 'Coca-Cola' Briony uncapped it and sipped, it was the most lovely thing she had ever drunk and she had soon finished over half the bottle.

"That, is lovely, I need more of this at home, do they do this drink at home do you think?"

As she was led to the next ride Briony was not enthused about it, there were small people everywhere and everyone just seemed so happy, it wasn't normal.

"What...why are people so happy? It's boiling hot, there are children everywhere...I just don't understand it."

With their turn coming Briony stepped onto the large boat, a family of six getting on in front of her and Richard and she fetl her eyebrow twitch as the children started to sing.

Seeing his wife rolling her eyes, Richard chuckled and sheepishly scratched the back of his head. Seemed he'd made another one of his little cultural slips again,

"Well maybe you'll enjoy it if we ever do it again?" he suggested, sticking his tongue out to show that he was joking, "Besides... I'm not no good. I'm like... 85% good."

When his wife went to try the muggle drink he was surprised when she quickly almost finished the bottle. He blinked a few times in surprise before grinning a little bit,

"Well it's a world-wide brand, they sell that stuff in pretty much every country." he grinned, "We'll have to pick some up for home. It's a muggle drink but it's good."

The number of small people seemed to be making his wife wary of this ride. If he was honest, he was a bit creeped out by how everyone around them with either a parent or under four foot tall,

"Yeah.... they do all seem really happy..." he smiled a little bit, "Maybe the ride is just that fun?"

When the singing started, Richard's eyes widened as well. An unfortunately and little know fact about Richard was that he hated disney songs. Before he could escape the ride had started. He whimpered a little bit,

"Damn disney songs..."

Briony couldn't help but chuckle slightly as Richard said that he was 85% good, maybe he was to her, but when he was in battle he was downright scary, it was more like 30% when he was like that, but Briony didn't mind she liked that.

"85%? Really? That's a bit optimistic isn't it Richard? I'd say you were at least 50/50, after all you aren't always acting good to be a good boy, if you understand."

Winking slightly, Briony pouted, she should have known it would be a muggle drink and she was hoping that it was rare so she could pass it off as not liking modern muffles still, but alas, it was not.

"I should have known, oh well, you'll just have to go and buy it won't you love?"

Briony stuck her tongue out and turned her attention back to the ride, twitching her eyebrow at the song and at the fact that all the family in the boat were now singing it, linking arms with Richard, Briony had a devious idea.

Turning to Richard she kissed him feverishly, twining her hands in his hair, breaking the kiss to move her head a different way, slipping her tongue in. All to drown out this awful music.

Richard chuckled with her at his own remark. When pushed he was well aware that his level of good greatly decreased from about 85% to 0%. When the chips were down or Briony was in danger, there were no depths he wouldn't sink to,

"Yeah... you know I think 50/50 is a lot closer." he chuckled a little bit more, "After all... I doubt the Germans think I'm 85% good. Or even 5%."

Seeing Briony's cute pout, Richard concluded that she really didn't care that the drink of a muggle drink. Well... not enough to stop drinking it at least,

"Sure thing love." he replied easily, "I can buy it in bulk so we don't have to go 'into town' quite as often."

Richard was cursing himself for choosing this ride, the family in front of them were singing and there were even little midget robots singing the terrible song as well! His eyes widened when Briony kissed him but he quickly caught on and kissed her back, arms wrapped urgently around her. Such a lovely kiss would drown out the terrible song!

Briony smirked at what Richard said to her, that was more like the Richard she knew and married, someone who was more bad than good, but, to her, it made it all the more special when he was actually good to her which was all of the time.

It made her feel special.

"That's more of a realistic figure I think love, maybe a bit more than five percent, 5.5% maybe?"

When Richard said that he would handle it Briony grinned and nodded her head, it was something that would damage her pride completely to do.

"Thanks." she said swiftly, wanting to drop the topic.

Immensely glad when Richard seemed to catch on and she didn't stop the kiss, tugging on his hair gently and nibbling at Richards bottom lip as she broke away from the kiss for a moment. The father and mother of the family were making tutting noises, and Briony could hear them chatting about them.

Briony rolled her eyes and stuck her finger up at them and continued kissing.

He chuckled lightly at Briony's knowing smirk. She knew he all too well after all, she knew exactly what he was like. In the front of his mind he was always aware, sometimes painfully so, that he was a rather bad person. More evil than good to be sure. But for Briony he only ever tried to be good, never wanting to ever hurt her,

"5.5% you say?" he chuckled a little bit, a darker chuckle, "Clearly you never heard of my 'Acid Blood' spell."

Noting that Briony wanted to drop the topic, Richard made a mental note to go shopping for large amounts of Coca Cola. Apparently it was going to be Briony's new addiction. Maybe they did it in different flavours as well?

Kissing his wife, passionately no less, inside a children's theme park ride was an experience that Richard could honestly say he'd never expected to have. He wrapped his arms tightly around Briony to press their bodies together as they made out. Breathing, Richard laughed lightly at the noises of disapproval they were getting from the parents and made sure they saw his tongue before he went back to kissing Briony passionately.

Briony chuckled lightly at the mention of the 'Acid Blood' spell, she had heard of it of course but she had never actually seen her husband perform such a spell and it was vaguely exciting to her, she had always been interested in bad men, even if they weren't wholly bad.

"Acid blood spell hmmm, sounds dangerously enticing, maybe you'll have to show it to me one day when we go out hunting together."

Smirking at Richard when she broke away from the kiss, Briony was then scooped back into it with a happy little moan, and began kissing Richard like there was no tomorrow. That would show those stupid kids for daring to sing that annoying song in her presence.

All of a sudden, the boat stopped, and she raised an eyebrow, they were stuck in a long queue with people waiting to get off the boats in front of them.

"Wow, that made the ride pass quick didn't it Richard?" Briony said happily, getting into this whole Disney thing.

Seeing the look his wife had adopted and the chuckle, Richard could only assume that she had heard of the spell. When he was younger it had been one of his favourites. He chuckled in return,

"Oh it's quite a show." he agreed with a small smirk, "I learnt to control it to such a degree that I can leave just the skeleton. We'll have to go hunting soon so I can show you."

Richard was greatly enjoying the passionate kissing with Briony at the moment, the kissing itself was hot as it always was but the situation, drowning out the annoying noises of children, was what made it even better. He chuckled with his wife as the ride ended. Helping her out of the boat, he wrap an arm around her shoulders,

"Yeah that passed real quick... I wish it had been longer now." he replied with a wink before grinning, "What do you say I take you to their new place... Potter World?"

Briony grinned happily when he said that they would have to go out hunting soon, it had been a while and it might get the Ministy off their back if they killed the occasional German group or so when they had spare time.

Talking about killing Germans while in a childs theme park was vaguely exciting...oddly enough.

"I would love that, I can pencil you in some time next week if you're free." she joked.

When Richard helped her off the boat Briony smiled lightly and stepped off, not wanting to fall into the seemingly stagnant water of the ride. Taking the park map from Richards pocket Briony shook her head:

"Not yet, that's not on the map anyway, I want to go on the Haunted Mansion, if...if that's not too childish for you I mean it totally is for me I'm just saying..." she tried to save herself.

His wife grinned happily and Richard couldn't help but feel that they were going to be going on a lot more hunting trips than before. Of course, with germans being their prey he wasn't complaining at all,

"Next week huh?" he teased back, "But what if we wanted to hunt after all of this wholesome fun?"

Wrapping his arm around Briony's shoulder, Richard looked at the map she'd taken from him. At the suggestion of the haunted mansion, Richard smiled before he smirked. He chuckled a little bit,

"Yeah let's go to the Haunted Mansion!" he declared before winking at her, "That was totally my childish idea... because you're not childish."

Briony liked the idea of hunting down some of the people who had dared to step in front of her while she walked in this place but thought that she might get into a little bit of trouble with the American Ministry, so decided against the idea.

"Mmmm not now love, were on holiday! Besides you've got to be diplomatic, American wizards won't enjoy having us scouring for Germans and 'bringing them into all of this'." Briony said, rolling her eyes.

When Richard agreed to go to the Haunted Mansion, Briony grinned even wider and walked, at a slightly fast pace, to the mercifully short line for the ride and pointed at the 'ghostly' horse and carriage.

"Is that supposed to be a thestral love?" she asked.

Richard saw that his wife had toyed with the idea of killing them but decided, when she told him her reasons, that it was probably a good idea,

"Yeah I guess you're right..." he pouted a little bit, "Stupid americans ruining all our fun..."

He chuckled when he saw just how enthusiastic his wife was for the idea of going on this ride. Richard caught up with her easily and they joined the short line before climbing onto the ride,

"No I think it's just supposed to be a weird horse..." he replied quietly, "Although the idea might have come from a squib or something... they do look vaguely similar."
