Lesson 1 first years Empty Lesson 1 first years

Smiling a little as she set up the classroom Juliet thought that it was going to be a good year again. Last year went by slowly but it had a few exciting events and she had found out that she had a brother and over the summer she had also met her long, lost child hood friend again.

Placing a piece of parchment on each of the desks which she would explain the reason for later.

Keaira walked into the charms classroom, wondering if it was as good a class as Lucian had told her it was. She sat down in the front, seeing a piece of paper in front of her. She automatically pulled out her quill, ink and book, getting ready to start.

Melissa was excited to start her first class, she had been waiting all summer for school to start and she was ready. Walking into the classroom she found a seat next to a girl she had not met yet.

"Hi I am Missy, do you mind if I sit here." Sitting down she looked at the paper in front of them and wondered what they were going to do with it.

Keaira looked up as a girl came over and talked to her. Keaira wanted to say no, but the girl was at all liberty to surprise her like so many others had done in the last couple of days.

"Not at all," she said, though a little stiffly.

She didn't mean to be rude or anything, but after living eleven years with being closed up and only talking to her twin, she didn't really know how to behave. But she would work on it. She managed to smile up at the girl.

"I'm Kearia. Keaira Drake," she said calmly.

Missy looked at the girl as if studying herit was nice to be around new people, she was going to have to learn not to be a loner.

"Thank you Keaira, it is nice to meet you" Missy looked around the classroom wondering when class was going to start.

" So are you excited to be at Hogwarts?"

Ella-May walked into the class, an air of purpose surrounding her. She dumped her bag and pulled out an inkwell and quill. There was parchment on the desk, and she wondered of it's purpose. Thinking again that charms was a fairly physical magic branch, she pulled out her wand and layed it neatly on her desk.

There was half a tempting sugar quill in her pocket, and not knowing what Charlienco would do... she pulled it out and started sucking on it discreetly. It tasted so good...

Eilee sat at her desk smiling kindly at her teacher however as she waited for class to start she took out her wand and cast the Lumos spell; the only one she bothered to learn cautiously. The tip brightened up as she used her index finger and her thumb to pulls the light off the wand. She leaned back in her chair playing with the light. She tried to make to form a star but watched as it failed. She narrowed her eyes before closing her palm around it watched as it disappeared with satisfaction.

My seat was two rows behind another first year girl. "oh, look," I thought she already knows some spells for her wand. I should have done that this summer instead of reading all that stupid history. I'll bet I'm the only one who didn't learn at least on spell or charm. why do I have to live in the smallest village around, I always have to play catch up. I am not sure I'm ready for this."
About this time the other girl turned and waved a slight wave and gave a little smile of welcome. As the rest of the class filed in and took their assigned classes I looked around at all the strange faces and really began to feel homesick for my little sisters.
The room quieted as the professor stood to welcome us to class
