Lesson One - First Years
Leilah was meeting her new First Year class today. She had just had a rather splendid lunch and baby liked it as well. She let out a small squeal as a large owl landed on her head. She took off the message and recognised the handwriting immediately, Grandmama. She read the letter. The handwriting was that of her cousins. Her grandmother was illiterate like some of the others from her village - Derlinkaberg. The ltter kept going on about the cats her grandmother owned. Anastasia, Tatiana, Olga, Maria, Alexei, Alexandra and Nicholas. They were all named after distant family members - the Romanovs. The students came in just as Leilah was putting the letter away. She looked over the class, it didn't look there were any trouble-makers.
"Guten Achten. My name is Professor Meranovoskov. I am here to teach you the art of The Dark Arts. In this room you will see and perform many Dark things. But, I have made sure that you will be subject to no pain in these classes. Now, onto some work. Today, you will be studying a Dark Wizard. I'll give you some clues. He worked closely with Albus Dumbledore. He attended this school. He took this very class. His initials were GG. Unfortunately, he is now dead. His name is Gellert Grindelwald. Do you know who it is? Gellert Grindelwald! Now, I would like you to simply read the chapters entitled For the Greater Good and Gellert Grindelwald in the book Das Leben und Lügen von Albus Dumbledore. That is all for today." She walked between the rows of students watching them read. It wasn't the greatest way to do a lesson but the book had a surprising amount of Dark Arts in it. The class dragged on for what seemed like hours. "Class. That is the end of lesson. Your homework is to write a few diary entries as Grindelwald. That is all. Class dismissed."

Keaira walked into the Dark Arts classroom with her face in monotone. She was feeling excited for the class, but she wasn't gonna jump around and be all 'DARK ARTS! YAY!' either. So she simply sat down in the middle of the class and listened as lehrer Meranovoskov told them what to do.
Keaira had in fact heard about Gellert Grindelwald. She had read several books about him, not to mention that she had already read Das Leben und Lügen von Albus Dumbledore many more times. So she opened the chapter and looked into it, knowing what she was going to read about. She had always thought something more than partnership was resident between Dumbledore and Grindelwald, and when lehrer Meranovoskov told them that they were supposed to write diary enteries in the way they thought Grindelwald did, Keaira's mind started racing instantly. She made quick notes of the thoughts that popped into her mind.
She then packed up her stuff and walked out of the class, ready to do some homework.

Melissa walked into class expecting to learn some needed lessons on the dark arts as she walked into the class she sat down near the girl that she was in the last class with.
When she sat down she pulled out her book getting ready to start only to have the teacher talk about studying Gellert Grindelwald.
Next thing she new was the teacher was dismissing the class. So she picked up and left the room not wanted to get in trouble for lingering.

Ella-May had been quiet for the entire lesson, finding the chapter on Grindelwald very interesting. She had of course, already known a lot about the old man, but still it was fascinating. Before she knew it, she was taking notes and lazily jotting down ideas. Not long after, her teacher was dismissing the class.
She liked this teacher - got straight to the point, she did. Ella felt like staying to ask the Professor's opinion on Gellert Grindelwald and his relationship with Dumbledore, but she didn't want to bother - and besides, if she got into it she'd be late for her next class. So instead she tossed everything into her bag and left the classroom.
