Lesson One - First Years Empty Lesson One - First Years

Post by Raven 'The Sweeney' Drake Thu Feb 16, 2012 8:10 am

Raven was looking forward to this class, why? Because her favourite student was in it. And when her favourite student was in a class it was actually worth dragging herself away from her cauldron to talk to the little children who littered up her classroom.

Sighing softly Raven placed the arm which she had cut off her latest kill on the front of her desk and took a razor out of her bag, she needed some ingredients for the potion she was doing, and this was one of them.

But when she realised that children would be coming in she moved the arm underneath the desk so that she could skin it out of sight.

Lesson One - First Years Empty Re: Lesson One - First Years

Keaira walked into the potions classroom, not only excited because she loved to brew, but because of the teacher she had heard so much about from Terry and Lucian. She looked at the lehrer with a curious glance and then went to sit down close to the front. She took out her books and got herself ready for class.

She then looked at the woman again. Raven 'The Sweeney' Drake. She was very beautiful, though her eyes were fierce and told Keaira that this woman wasn't the kindest one. Something about her spiritual energy wasn't human either. It was like the energy was made to be similar to a human, but not quite matching. Keaira hadn't felt that energy before and she instantly grew curious.

Keaira could also sense that 'The Sweeney' wasn't the most normal and sane one in the world. Keaira could feel how insane this woman was. And Keaira was intruiged. She wasn't scared. Not in the least. Because something about the woman reminded her of herself. And Keaira wouldn't fear herself. She felt a familiarity towards the woman. Not that she had met her before, but something was soothing to Keaira. Probably the fact that it appeared to Keaira that the woman loved killings for experiments.

Lesson One - First Years Empty Re: Lesson One - First Years

Melissa was very nervous when she walked into the classroom. She had heard nothing but whispers about this teacher before the class. As she walked into the class she saw that same girl that she had her other classes with so she just walked up to the desk next to her to get ready to work.

As Missy sat at the table she could not help but stare up at this teacher. It looked like she was messing with something in her lap, Missy wondered if she really wanted to know what it was or not. She decided not.

She pulled out her quills and parchment and was ready to begin the lesson.

Raven grinned and used a flick of her wand to slam the door shut, there was a brief moment of silence before she stood up and walked over to the two students, somewhat forgetting about the arm in her hand and just flinging it on the desk as an after thought.

"Hello students. Welcome to potions. I am 'The Sweeney' you will address me as such are we understood?"

Casting a sideways glance at the cauldron that was on the boil at the side of the room Raven grinned even wider and opened her arms elegantly as if to hug the two girls.

"Now, who wants to have a try of my potion? It's delicious. Someone for some housepoints, tell me what it is."

It was disguised to look like the Draught of Living Death, but in fact it was a simple solution to produce boils. Not that they'd know that.

Lesson One - First Years Empty Re: Lesson One - First Years

Missy about jumped out of her skin when Sweeney slammed the door shut. Missy thought she was going to loose her lunch when the Lehrer threw what looked like a arm on the desk. This was one weird teacher. She knew that different things went into a potion but she perfered not to do the work with the whole body part.

When Sweeney ask one of them to try her potion she knew that she didn't want to try it so she looked at Kearia.

"I ain't doing you do it"

Keaira raised an eyebrow. She didn't think the Sweeney would be stupid enough to kill her, so she rose and threw a dirty look at Melissa. Sure, Keaira was trying to be nice, but it was to certain extents. She then looked at the Sweeney.

"If it's nasty, I will want at least twenty points to my house," Keaira said coldly.

She looked into the Potion. Her eye twitched and she took a cup. Then she took a very small sip. Then she felt a weird feeling in her face, suddenly very aware that something like zits were kicking out into her skin. She blinked. Then she rolled her eyes. Annoying.

"Thirty," Keaira then said with a wicked grin, probably looking ridiculous with the boils in her face.

She sat back down again, making a note to brew an antidote if she didn't get one.

Melissa felt bad when she saw what had happened to Keaira.

"I am sorry" Missy mouthed at her.

"Promise, next time I will taste whatever it was."

Melissa hoped she didn't hate her for having her go this time.

Raven raised her eyebrow at the girl, from her own house no less, and she felt herself beginning to frown, and when she frowned, it was generally not a good sign, as long as she was placated she was quite easy to handle, however, once she was angry, all that suppressed emotion wouldn't stay suppressed forever.

When the boils came up on her face, Raven chuckled huskily but, when she demanded yet more points, she felt the skin around her eyes grow cold and black, almost as if in was seeping across her skin.

"Excuse me...Excuse ME?! What do you think you are doing you ignorant little bag of blood?! How DARE you give me orders in my OWN classroom?"

Quick as you would have thought possible, Raven flicked her friend out of her pocket and into her hand, giving the girl a quick cut across the cheek, growling slightly.

"You will have thirty points. Taken away. From your house. You insolent child. And you will also serve detention, tonight, with me, in my office. And if you come without those boils there will be hell to pay."

Looking at the girl who had chickened out of tasting the potion, Raven glared at her also and pointed the razor at her too: "And you, consider yourself lucky, don't give her the antidote."

"Now get out." she growled.

Melissa could not believe what had just happened. She gathered her books and ran out of the classroom as fast as she could. She was warned what was she thinking taking that class.

Melissa felt bad for the girl and was going to help her get the problem taken care of but after getting yelled at for not doing anything she decided againt it. She did not see that girl anywhere so she took off as fast as she could.

Keaira didn't even react when something she couldn't see cut her cheek. It wasn't deep. The teacher yelled at her, and she understood perfectly fine why the teacher was called 'the Sweeney'. But she didn't care. Not really. But she was pissed off when the sodding woman took thirty fucking points from her house. She wanted to scream, but thought better of it. Afterall, the teacher was her superior.

Keaira didn't say anything when the lehrer demanded her to come to her office that night for detention with the same boils on her face. Keaira didn't care. Her face was nothing to her. She just nodded calmly.

"As you wish, the Sweeney," she said in a collected tone and then turned to get her things.

She heaved her bag on her back and then looked back at the enraged lehrer. "Just want to say, I wasn't questioning your authority. I was just joking. But whatever, it probably doesn't make any difference, right?" she said, giving a small smirk, though with no intention of enraging the teacher even more.

Keaira would've been scared. She would've been. But the concept was foreign to her. So she simply turned her back and walked out of the classroom. She wasn't angry at the other girl for running off either. That was understandable.
