Lesson One - Second Years

Raven entered the classroom after the holiday, she frowned, someone had decided that it would be a good idea to move her things around, her dog was no longer there and her cauldron had been in a totally different part of the room at a totally different angle.
Sitting cross-legged on top of the desk, Raven took out one of her razors and began to jaggedly carve onto the wood a picture of someone being hung, a crude stick person, but still very eerie to walk into.
Hoping that the students would show soon, Raven blew the wood chips away.

Terry walked into potions class on time this time. Although he didn't think spending time alone with Lehrer Drake was as bad as he thought it was going to be he didn't want to have to do it again.
The problem that Lehrer probably wouldn't like if she knew was after that time alone she didn't really scare Terry anymore, so he walked up to the desk and placing his stuff on the desk he looked up at the teacher.
"Professor Lehrer, did you accomplish everything you wished too during your holiday?"

Raven looked up at the student, it was Terrance she believed, and she raised an eyebrow, oddly enough it would have seemed that she had calmed down from her hectic mental state from last year.
It would seem that the stress of being restricted had directly effected her personality and made it more chaotic.
"Greetings Terrance. No. No I did not."
Raven looked off into the space behind his shoulder and thought of that thing that she had been missing so much lately. If only she knew what it was.
"Today we are going to be discussing the potion used to make photographs animated, a photograph potion."
Taking out one photograph, one of her and a woman, Briony, she passed it to Terrence.
"Name me an ingredient in one of these potions."
(OOC: There are no actual canon ingredients so just make some up
)

Terry took the picture that she handed him. He was unsure who the lady was but it really was not his business.
She wanted to know one of the ingredients in the potion so he flipped in his book to that page.
"Lacewing flies" Terry said. It was pretty simple it was right in front of him.

Aquila practically ran down the halls to her Potions class. Her nerves made her eyes dart around carefully as she arrived outside the door to the potions classroom. She hoped that perhaps, their instructor would be in better spirits today and not punish her for her tardiness.
She hesitated, before stepping inside and moved towards a seat with a mumbled apology directed at her Lehrer. She sat down and got out her books and set them up on the table in front of her.

Raven looked up as the door opened and she sighed slightly, still makig her picture on the table like she was doing before, it seemed as if the time had gone rather fast and slipped away from her, unfortunately that meant that she was going to have to give the students homework, oh dear.
"Lesson is over, your homework is to look over the photograph potion, try and make it yourself, and come to your next lesson with a photo treated with the potion, there are no posionous ingredients to it, so take them from my store cupboard before you go, along with a recipe I so kindly wrote for you."
Ingredients:
1. Lacewing Flies (5)
2. Flobberworms (3)
3. Apple Grass (2 strands)
4. Unicorn Hair (1 strand)
Method:
1. Add a base potion to a medium heated cauldron#
2. Chop the three flobberowmrs finely and add to the base potion all at once, stir the potion 5 times clockwise
3. Add the strands of apple grass one at a time, wait until the potion turns a green colour. Make sure the potion is a LIGHT green, otherwise you have done something incorrect.
4. After this add the unicorn hair and stir the potion once counter clockwise
5. Finally add in the five lacewing flies and take the potion off the heat.
WAIT until the potion is cool before adding two drops of it to your photograph.
"Oh...and by the way...5 points to Geschick for a correct answer, 10 points from Risiko for being late. Class dismissed."
