Potter-Krum 2012 Finale

The German Times Article Three Quidditch_Trophy

Where the officials are gearing up for war, the only weapons fans of the Potter-Krum Cup wish to wield are banners supporting their favourite teams and players. The annual Quidditch event held to foster camaraderie and work towards fostering good relations and ending this decade long conflict is going to be held in Dresden this year. Already, hordes of witches, wizards and other beings of magical origin are making their way to Dresden in hopes to get last minute seats for the match. Security around the town has been doubled since the arrival of British fans and the players from both teams are being treated as maximum security individuals with trained teams of Aurors manning the training grounds day and night.

With last year’s epic win to live up to, Britain has sent her best players once again including legendary Beaters Demi Fitzgerald and Eli Strong but our home team isn’t far behind. Led by team Captain and Keeper, Igor Zovlovsky, the German team now consists of the dynamic and deadly Tregorch Triplets, all playing Chasers for the first time in one team. Make sure to watch this space for more sports updates as this historic event unfolds.
