Lesson One - Second Years

[Doctor Florence Nettle]

The Doctor sat in the classroom underneath the standing stones, the entrance to it wide open so that the students would easily find the stairs and walk down into the underground classroom. He had quite the lesson planned for them today. It was going to be the start of their new project; Staves.

Lucian walked down to his Rune class, last time he had been there that girl from Muhe had been attending and as he looked down into the classroom area it didn't seem as if she was there.

Shame.

Maybe she had decided that Durmstrang wasn't for her after all? Regardless, Lucian didn't really care.

Stopping in front of the Professor, Lucian smirked: "Yo Highmaster, high turn out huh?"

The Doctor was one of the only people who knew who, or what, he was.

The Doctor looked up at the sound of feet decending the stiars. Of course he was slightly annoyed one of his only students for the second year had dropped out but, if he was blunt, it wasn't as if the girl had done any work. But Lucian, he had higher hopes for,

"Ah Lucian, lovely to see you again." he grinned at the second year, "How are you settlingly in for your second year? No complaints I hope?"

Stretching his muscles, bored slightly, The Doctor held up a tick staff of wood. He chucked it to Lucian,

"Class project. Staves." he grinned, "Did you hear anything about the invasion of Hogwarts?"

Lucian couldn't help but like the man in front of him, it was why he obeyed his rules. It was why he actually respected what he said, and that was a feat from a centuries old demon. A big feat.

Grinning slightly Lucian shrugged:

"It's too cold here, I'm used to much...warmer climates."

With little effort Lucian caught the stave and examined the wood slightly, getting a feel of it, and then his attention was caught with the question about Hogwarts.

"Yes I am aware, my sister informed me, she was pissed you lost her some clients." shrugging again Lucian swung the stave "So, staves, used in battle in guessing?"
