Wandering around the corridors of the castle, bored as he found he always was as of recently, Parker had made his way to the sixth floor. He paced around a corridor, looking at the painting and tapestries on the walls. He was remembering the other day with his best friend Pxyis. While relaxing together after making up from what was honestly a silly argument/misunderstanding, she was tracing over his hand and he found himself wondering about palm reading. His mother would mention occasionally and he thought it sounded interesting.

As he paced he heard the wall start to move to reveal a door. He looked around shocked, not knowing if he'd done something wrong or where the room let to. He cautiously went to the door and started to creel the door open. He looked around, not seeing anyone at first and he called out, "Hello?? I-is anyone in here...?"

Anne was sitting it the mysterouse room looking at her hands, when she heard someone shout, "Hello?? I-is anyone in here...?"

She smiled seeing that the boy was scared, and replied "Hi, I'm Anne, would you like to get your palm read?"

Parker opened the door a bit more and he took a careful step in, after hearing the voice. He then saw her as the door shut behind him. He looked back then at her as he slowly walked forward. "Er, Anne? Hi- I'm Parker."

He looked around the strange, large room as he approached her. He looked at her and furrowed his eyebrows as he registered her question? "Huh? Palm reading?" Wow. What a coincidence, he thought. Maybe a bit...too coincidental.

The whole set up of the room seemed a bit sketchy, like she had been waiting for him. He sighed and took the seat across from her, hesitating a moment before holding out his hand. "Well, me mum sometime got her palm read, well, I don't know how accurate muggle palm reading could be, but it seems a pretty curious thing..." He glanced around again, trying to keep his hand steady as he held it out and tried to smile a bit "A bit freaky to think you can read what me life'll be like..."

He seemed very nevous best not tell him tto much. so i take his hand it's shaking slightly. i study it very carefully, "Well Parker you have an avrage life line, witch means that you will not die of natural causes till you're a decent age. You are a very detemned person, and you will be succesful. You are shy and people walk over you, people say you don't belong in slythering but they are wrong, you have great ambition. you also have a great love of nature" I look him in the eye and tell him the last part of my reading, "you are a Great wizard Parker." I smile at him.

He raised his eyebrows in surprise as she read his palm, and he looked down at it himself. He never though so much information about himself could be set in the lines of his hand. What an absolutely fascinating thing.

He looked up at her as she finished the reading and smiled back. "I hope to be someday." He felt his spirits lift a bit at her saying that, even if he wasn't entirely sure he believed in fate or all of that, but it was a nice thing to hear nonetheless.

"Anything else you want to know?" i ask him as he looked at me. I can tell he slightly doubts me but it doesn't matter. by telling him the turth i raised his spirit and maybe he'll be stronger. I know even if he doesn't every word i spoke was true.

He thought a moment as she asked if there was anything he wanted to know. He spared another look around the room before asking, "Uhm, well, maybe why your here of all places."

What was 'here' anyways? He really had no clue what this place was. Though since she was here she probably know. "What room is this anyways? It just...appeared out of nowhere."

Once again she had lost Coeur. That tricky feline always got the best of her. She had found herself on the sixth floor, a place she had not managed to explore before long she had forgotten why she was even there. Walking down the hall, she looked around seeing that her dueling classroom was empty, and she kept going. She always wondered why there was an awkward sense of emptiness after the classrooms.

Something was calling to her, and soon she found herself staring at the wall. She couldn't understand why, but soon enough, something called out to her and out of no where a door appeared. Her eyes were wide, not believing what occurred, but her curiosity outweighed her nerves and she opened the door.

"Hello" she murmured.

I turned from Parker and greeted the new person entering the room
"Hello" they called
"Hey" I called back "I'm Anne and if you'd like I can read your palm"
I then wispered in an undertone to parker "you need anything else about this room or the future come find me" i then turn to the girl entering the room and ask "what can i do for you?"

Tess walked in, her wand already in her hand gripped tight. Was she loony? Why would she walk into the door, no less call out before she entered. If it was some sort of trap, well she deserved anything she got. Her anxiousness was calmed as soon as she saw Parker there. She let out a small smile and waved.

'Palm-reading?' she thought.

She didn't really believe in that malarkey, because all of that was usually categorized in the "Quibbler" section of things. Still, she figured she had nothing to lose but some time, and she had all the time in the world for now.

"What can you do for me?" she asked. "Well I don't know...how do I know this is not some joke pulled right out of a Zonko's magazine?"

When Parker hear the door start to open and a voice call out, he turned in his chair. He smiled and eased up a bit seeing it was Tess, worried for a moment that the girl he deemed to be a bit odd had cornered him or something equally as paranoid sounding.

He turned more in his chair towards her as she voiced her doubts out loud, and smiled a bit at her honestly. He wouldn't go so far as to say it was a joke, because he knew people did devote their lives to this stuff, it could just be wishful thinking, although scarily accurate.

She placed her wand in her wand holder, but never really looked away from the witch in front of her. She had learned to not be so trusting ever since the attack, and she had lost most of her trusting nature. Sitting down, she briefly turned and twitched her lip, signs of a small smirk appearing. Yes, she was honest, but she couldn't help it, often times she felt herself doing it.

But she couldn't be 'sweet/weak' Tess here, oh no, for this girl she didn't know, she didn't trust, and thus she would be at limited guard. She had heard about Muggles paying thousands of dollars over having their palms read by other Muggles claiming to have a power. Seers, and other people oftentimes faked it, and she many times had she been told it was fake.

Might as well get some entertainment out of this she thought.

"We'll see" she said shrugging at the girl's comment.

She hadn't even said her name, how could she even think of believing the girl.

i took the doubting witch's hand and looked at it. "Well Tess you have a nice long life line, you will have a sucessful life eventually but your trust issues will get in the way. You enjoy talking to people, you are a nice person in general but after a event in your past, an attack i believe, you don't trust people at first sight and you were scared at first comming here because you didn't know how to interact with the other kids" I tell her, people don't know how much is on their hands.

She let out a slow smirk and looked at the girl straight in the eye.

"You know....if you're a student here, you know of the attack. If you are a student here you know Slytherins are not that trusting...at least usually we aren't" she added glancing at Parker. "And as for interactions...that's false"

In fact the interactions she had were only with children her age. She sighed and frowned slightly seeing that this didn't prove her hypothesis wrong.

"Tell you what....Gryffindor" she said looking at the girl's tie. "Tell me something no one knows, something deep, something that you couldn't get from gossip here..because gossip travels"

She wanted to see something that was unexplained.

"Come on" she murmured once more looking deeply at her.

Victoria had told her about how people lied about gifts in her world, well she wanted to test it out.

She still doubts ok then "you're on" i close my eyes and take in the girls aura then lean back on my chair and go still
Tess is standing in a beautiful house, looking at a picture from her last year at Hogwarts, a gleaming badge on her chest, she smirks and goes out side turning herself into a fox
I sit back up. It's my turn to smirk i look her in the eye and say "you want to be head girl because of your ambition and you also want to be an agimagus, witch would be a fox." I tell her

A slow smirk appeared on her face, and her eyes were bright with amusement. She looked over at Parker briefly wondering if he had told anyone about her ambition to be an animagus. Still, a fox? Now that was unlikely? Professor Romaine had told her she could not choose what she would be, and yet she had always had a connection to foxes.

"Nice" she said simply.

Head girl? She hadn't thought of that, but it did sound nice.

"Either you know what I want to hear, or you actually believe it" she said slowly.

Stretching in her chair she looked at the room before looking back at her.

"But I like what I hear" she chuckled. "I'll give you that"

She chuckled a bit. Apparently she wasn't understood clearly. It wasn't that she didn't believe her, per say, but that she took some insight of her, in a way where she wouldn't have guessed right away. She told no one on planning to be Head Girl, or if it was even a thought, and as for foxes she had told Professor Romaine only.

"I do" she replied nodding.

Parker was sat, watching the exchange between the girls curiously. The way Tess was challenging her, he thought amusing. He almost felt like he should leave though, feeling like he was prying into private knowledge about Tess.

He raised his eyebrows at the girl mentioning that Tess wanted to be head girl, but the little he knew about her, he figured she could do it. Slytherins were ambitious and hardworking, and she was so smart he'd have no doubt she woould be able to do it.

Mentioning about her animagus and America, he stood up, looking between them. "Erm, I-I should go..."
