Reading ( Open to anybody)

Tessa was placed herself in where the books where. That way she could be by herself, just for a little bit. And it reminded her of what she would do growing up. This was her way from escaping from all of her worries. She knew she had a ton of classes, and would be amazed to keep up with all of them.

She sighed while thinking about that. But she then noticed that she had grabbed her favortite book out of her bag. The Serect Garden. Tessa had no idea why she loved that book, but she has always read it. She would tell herself that one day she would have a serect garden. But she would only share it with her close friends. She then started to think about it. Tessa decided she would tell Leshia if she ever made one.

Tabi knew she had a lot of studing to do and she figured she could go study in the library to get her things. She went through the bookshelves looking for what she
needed.

Currently the only friend she had was Ivano, and if a person could believe it Tess her new roommate. Looking around the tables seemed to be full or have people she didn't want to be around. She saw one table that just had one person on it. It was Leshia's friend Tessa. Maybe if she was quiet enough she would not even know she was there.

She walked up to the table and placed her stuff on the table trying not to move the table or anything. Then she pulled a chair out very quietly then sat down. She figured by now she knew someone was at the table but how would she know who she was.

Pulling her parchments and quilla out she gets to work.

Tessa smiled a little bit. " Hello Tabi." She grinned, because she knew that nobody could fool her. Over the years she had learned that everybody has a different smell to them. And she learned how to tell if someone was in the room with her.

She felt a little bit bad. Because the last time she got to talk to her was on the train. And Tessa thought that she was really nice. But with all of her classes and Damien, she had little time.

Dang it she thought she would go at least somewhat undetected.

"Hi Tessa" she said in a small voice. "How did you know it was me, I am trying to be quiet."

Tessa smiled. " Just say I am that good."

She was laughing a little bit. " Everybody has a different scent to them."

Tabi started smelling her armpits. "Are you saying I smell?"

Tabi could not believe that she would even think that.

"So rumor has it you are after my husband to be, do you think that is wise?"

Tessa was shocked. " Not like that. It is really hard to explain. You have a sweet soft smell."

She was still in shock. Tessa had told no one. " I don't know what you mean."

Tabi was trying to smell herself, what the heck is a sweet soft smell. "So do you smell anything else on me?"

Tabi hadn't thought about it when she made that comment, the only reason she knew was she had read her sister's mind at one point. Being telepathic between the two of them had its pluses, not that she would say that too her sister.

So she decided to play it off a little. "Well Dear we do live in the same house, and he is a man. They talk you know."

Tabi wondered if she could cause a little trouble with them.

Tessa decided that she was going to give up trying to explains how everybody has a different scent to Tabi.

She then dropped her hand and that is when Yasmina started to nuzzle it.

Tessa was blushing a little bit. " I know people talk."

Tabi could help but laugh.

"Honey this is Slytherin house, they do not talk." Tabi got an evil grin on her face. "They BRAG!!" as Tabi emphasized the word brag.

Tabi wanted to lay it on thick.

"Yeah by the end of last year, I apparently had kissed everyone in the house. Not that any of it was true. But look at the points I got."

Tessa was shocked at what Tabi said.

" Damien wouldn't say anything like that, he knew if it got back to his parents he would be in trouble."

"Oh honey" Tabi got up and moved around the table and placed her arm around the sweet girl. She was just laying it on so thick.

"Honey parents only care if it is serious, we are allowed to have has many conquests as we want. In fact it is encouraged." Tabi laughed a little.

"Honey if his parents found out all he did was use you and break your little heart, they would throw him a party."

Tessa was shocked. " Damien won't use me. I know it, because my father would find out."

Yasmina then let out a small bark.

Tabi had to laugh some more.

"You my dear have no idea what it is like to be a Slytherin. Trust me what his parents will do when they find out he is in love with you. Will be far more damaging than what your father will do to him."

Tabi got up and was going to walk away and let her chew on what she said.

Tabi figured if she wanted to know more then Tessa would stop her.

Tessa looked at Yasmina. " You have to be quiet."

She looked at Tabi. " I really hope that you aren't taking Charms then."

Tabi could not believe she didn't realize what she was saying so she walked back to the table.

"What does taking charms have to do with it?" Tabi was confused on that.

Tabi sat back down so she could whisper to her.

"Do you not understand the risk that Damien is taking just to be with you, his father will beat him within a inch of his life. Tabi just cringed at the thought.

"I have seen it, once when he got a spell wrong in our lesson his father beat him until he got it right."

Tabi knew that Damien would kill her if he knew she told this story.

"I am happy with Ivano, and I know that Damien is happy with you. But until we get this contract taken care of things have to 'look' different than they are."

Tabi hoped she understood better now.

Tessa sighed. " My father is the Charms Professor."

She then cringed as she listen to the story Tabi was telling her.

Tabi really didn't have anything else to say to her really.

"I have known Damien my whole life and I know his likes and dislikes and many things I would care not to know, but when it comes down to it he is like my little brother and I will protect him from the likes of everyone, including you and your father."

With that Tabi walked away. There really was not much else for her to say on the subject. She had talked about Damien enough as it was.

Tessa noticed that Yasmina started to growl at Tabi.

" My father has no problem with Damien. As long as he treats me nice."

Walking into the library to return some books, Parker passed by Tabi. He wanted to say something, maybe sorry, but she'd walked passed him too fast. He sighed and walked into the library, going to the desk return some books before picking out a few more. He looked for a place to sit but most tables were filled. The only other table was a gryffindor girl. He sighed and figured, 'why not' as he approached the table and set the books down. He sat and gave her a polite smile as he opened one of the books.

Tessa smile when she could feel a new person sat down at the table. She then opened her books and started to run her fingers across the page.

She had no idea what keep drawing her back to the same book.

Parker glanced up from the passage he read, noticing her running her fingers over the book. He moved his feet a little under the table, feeling something with his foot. Her not having reacted, he looked under the table and noticed the dog.

A dog?? What on earth? He thought as he sat back up right, looking over to her book. It all finally clicked in his head and he cleared his throat as a too late indicator of his presence. He smiled a little again. "Erm, Hi. Sorry if I've bothered you... I'm just doing some studying."

Tessa smiled. " You aren't bothering me. I was just up here trying to enjoy the library."

She knew that he saw her puppy. " This is my guide dog, Yasmina."

Tessa was prepared to answer any of his questions.

He smiled. "The library sure is great isn't it?" He peeked back under the table to take another look at the dog, speaking while still leaned over. "Yasmina? That's a cool name. She's a beautiful dog."

Parker sat upright again, flipping through a few pages of his book before looking back up at her. "So, how're you enjoying it here? You're a first year, right?"

She grinned. " Yeah the library is a great place, nothing but quiet." Tessa then was smiling as he was talking about Yasmina. " Thanks that is the name that came with her, she was a gift from my father."

" I really like it here, it is a lot different from the muggle orphanage I was in." She was still smiling at the thought. " Yeah I am a first year. Gryffindor is my house."
