Lesson Two Empty Lesson Two

Post by Jabbar Mortiz Tue Feb 28, 2012 4:38 pm

Jay was exited for this class. It had to be one of his favorite topics. He waited until all his students were seated before beginning.

"Good morning. Today's lesson will be on Animagus." He walked around his desk only to seat on top of the desk. Jay concentrated and felt his body change into a black crow. He flew around the classroom landing on the table of a couple students before flying back to his desk and change back into human.

"I think it's one of the coolest aspects of Transfiguration but it can be quite dangerous if not done properly." He smiled at his students. "Why don't you tell me what animal would you like to turn into and why. We'll go around the class that way everyone gets a chance to speak."

Lesson Two Empty Re: Lesson Two

After Aquila had arrived to the class and taken her seat, she had waited impatiently for the lesson to begin. If there were two lessons that she could stand to go to and - dare she say it - enjoy at this school, they were Transfiguration and Potions. Both were enjoyable and interesting.

Her eyes widened slightly as she watched there lehrer shift with ease into the form of a black crow, which both alarmed and delighted her, before he swooped around the room and landed on her table. Her nose wrinkled in disgust and she watched as the bird swooped away again and shifted back into human form.

Aquila looked around and saw that no one else had spoken, so she raised her hand rather boldly and showed no fear nor nerves.

"I'd like to turn into a fox. The animal fox represents sly, cunning and the fox is also very fast and good at slipping into small spaces. However, if I were a spy i'd want to be a bug - preferably one that could fly away before they are swatted."

Ella watched curiously as the lehrer transformed into a black crow, flew around, then changed back. She grinned, he was right - it was cool.

She thought for a moment. "I think... possibly a pygmy owl," she said, raising her hand. Ella personally didn't want to be an animagus, but if she had to, being a mini owl would be enjoyable.

Keaira thought about it for a second. "A lion as it is the closest one can get to a manticore," she said calmly.

She hadn't thought about becoming an animagus, but she didn't think it would be a bad thing to learn. She didn't mind the thought at all really.

Melissa didn't realize the time and made a mad dash to Transfiguration, she was hoping the class hadn't started yet, but as she arrive to the room she discovered that the teacher all ready asked a question.

Melissa tried to sneak in the back room and find a desk and then she realized it was her turn to answer the question.

"Well Sir, I love cats, and I would hope I could turn into a panther."

Melissa was sure he noticed that she came in a little late but not too bad.

Terry walked into Transfiguration and took a seat by Keaira. This seemed to be the thing he had started to do. He noticed that when he got there they were talking about Animagus and they were going around the room to see what everyone wanted to turn into.

Terry had never actually thought about it but he thought perhaps a flying creature.

"Well I believe I would want to be a eagle, and soar above the world with out having to use a broom."

Eilee entered the class and tilted her head at the Leher's questioning. She was part-creature but... It wouldn't show until she entered her third year. Bright blue wings would protrude brightly from her back and it would be irreversible. Not that she cared, though, it was pride for her. So nothing with wings.

"A dragon," She murmured sketching the picture onto a slip of paper she'd slipped from her bag and putting detail into the scaly skin as she slipped into her own fantasy.

Agne rushed into the room tears in her eyes, she was late again! She was positively sure they had gotten in wrong, she couldn't be a witch, she was just some girl flaunting about the castle getting lost and hindering everyone! As she swung the door open her books fell to the floor with a terrible clatter, announcing her entrance. Agne was a normally happy girl, normally. At this however she fell the the floor in a heap hands over her face crying with frustration. After a few seconds she gathered he things and sat at an empty table apart from the others eyes stinging and face red with embarrassment.

Ella watched in shock as a fellow first year burst into the room, spilt her things everywhere and then flooded the room with tears. Quickly she got up and helped her with her things. Ella noticed her sitting at the back, and, getting her own things, shuffled down and joined her, a sympathetic smile on her face.

"New?" she asked. "It's alright, you'll get better soon, used to it, you know? I'm Ella-May, you are...?"

Jay was happy with his class. He had spent one entire lesson listening to his students and planned to use the next lesson to cover the basic of becoming an animagus. "It seems everyone has something in mind, that's good" He smiled. "Next class we'll begin to cover the training to become one. If you do not have an interest on becoming an animagus you can watch and perhaps help your fellow classmates"

he erased the board. "That's all for today" He dismissed the class.

"Agne," she said sniffling her nose as they walked out of class. "Thank you by the way, and yes I am very new I didn't even know magic was real until I got my letter." she paused and bit her lower lip. "I heard a boy saying that we're at war right now, is that true?" she asked, a worried look on her face as she watched Ella-May waiting for an answer.
