Second Years- Lesson 2 Empty Second Years- Lesson 2

Post by Sofia Slytherin Wed Feb 29, 2012 8:42 am

Sofia thought last weeks lesson week really well and she was excited to see if her class had been practicing on their mediation she was really excited to find out if they found out a good way to clear their mind.

Sofia took her spot on the floor on her mat and started her own mediation. She had been doing more mediation lately especially after the wedding.

She just sat there on the floor and waited for the class to arrive.

Second Years- Lesson 2 Empty Re: Second Years- Lesson 2

Haley walked into the Divination classroom and quietly sat her things down by a mat, settling down on it herself. She thought it easier to clear her mind now, due to the fact that she was getting much better in Occlumency at the same time.

Within five seconds, her head was completely clear and she simply relaxed as she waited along with professor Slytherin for the other students and the lesson to start.

Second Years- Lesson 2 Empty Re: Second Years- Lesson 2

Parker made his way up the stairs, silent and lost in his own drift of thoughts. He felt particularly quiet today, just not feeling like talking. He smiled a little, happy that in Divination, since they were working on meditation, he could relax. Maybe his reflective behavior today was because of the meditation. He'd been feeling more calm and relaxed lately, and it was really pleasant.

He walked into class, taking a seat with his bag beside him. He sighed quietly. He realized that while feeling more introverted today, he was actually more distracted then usual. So the actual process of meditating would be a bit more difficult.

He was glancing around the room, thinking, as the others in the room seemed to already be meditating.

Sofia cold feel there were only two students in the class at the moment so she decided that she would just chat with them and see how their meditation was coming.

Sofia turned around on her mat and looked at the students.

"So Mr. Emery and Ms. Smith, how have your personal meditation sessions been coming?"

Parker smiled a bit to professor slytherin as she turned around, then asking how their meditation was going.

He looked to Haley and back to the professor, figuring he should answer. "Uhm. Really well, I think. I feel like I've been getting my work done a lot faster and easier because I'm more concentrated on it."

Haley grinned too and looked at professor Slytherin. "I think it's been wonderous. Seriously, everything comes easier now. I also take Occlumency and because of Divination and such, it's much easier for me to focus. It's more relaxing, and spells comes easier to me as well now," she said happily.

She was amazed at how many things she could use meditation to in magic. She loved it.

Sofia was very impressed with her two students they were gaining so much in a short amount of time.

"Seeing is this is such a small class I will let the two of you decide what we shall do for our next lesson."

Sofia smiled this would give her a chance to see what these two really wanted to learn about.

"Also I will award both of you 20 points for your hard work. You will discover that with meditation everything will start to come easier for you. Class dismissed."

Haley beamed at professor Slytherin. "Thank you professor," she said happily and then rse, picking up her books.

"I'll take my time trying to find out what I would like to learn next class," she said.

Then she turned to Parker. "Shall we?" she asked and walked towards the door.

Parker smiled as the class was dismissed. This would only get easier, he liked the idea of that. He stood, grabbing his bag and slinging it over his shoulder.

He looked over at Haley as she got ready to leave. "I'm going to stay behind a bit. I'll meet you at the bottom of the stairs?"

He then adjusted his bag on his shoulder, going over to Professor Slytherin.
