Meeting Two: Attack Spells

Salina held her notes tight to her chest, making an attempt to hold them and several books in her arms. Her shoulder bag was too full with other stuff to fit these, and she almost stumbled as she made her way up the stairs. Putting in the password to get in was tricky, but she pressed her nose against the wall instead of her finger. She whispered the phrase to the wall and hurried down the corridor to the open door to the meeting room.

Once she was in, she let out a sigh of relief as she was able to let the books tumble out of her arms along with her notes. She dumped her bag on the desk and gathered her notes into a messy pile. She sifted through them, placing the Glamour Charm notes in one pile. The second consisted of attack spells they were to learn this lesson.

Once each person had arrived, Salina moved around the desk with a smile, thinking that she would enjoy being a teacher when she was older. She felt like one now. She leant against the desk and cleared her throat, glad that she had memorized the spells she had scribbled down on her list.

"We 'ave a lot to get through today. I 'ave managed to acquire some textbooks on Attack spells for each of you," Salina gathered these books in her arms and placed one on the desk in front of them all. She moved back to the front. "Today, we will be learning ze following spells - Stupefy, Reducto and Incarcerous. You will find each of zese on different pages. Stupedy, page 36, Reducto page 87, and Incarcerous on page 172. After you 'ave read about zem, you may attempt to use them on the objects around the room." Salina motioned to the plant pots that she had set up the week previous. There was one for each student.

"And for stupefy, pair up and try zat on one another."

[[If you don't know the spells, i'll give you something quick! Stupefy is a jet of red that sends that stuns the opponent. Leshia got the note for the next meeting and from the looks of things they were going to be attack spells. Leshia was still a little worn out from her hospital stay. Walking into the room she looked around and no one was there yet except Salina.

Salina was suppose to be her best friend but they really hadn't talked since before they left school.

"Salina would it be ok if I sat out this practice? My magic is not up to where it should be."

Leshia wanted to attend the meeting but did not have the energy to go any spells yet.

Charlotte was delighted when she had heard that there was another meeting of the Shadow Society going on in the school and she moved along the corridors, whispering the password and pressing her hand against the door so that she would be let in.

Upon arriving she saw that there were only two other people there, not that she minded, and she smiled lightly at both of them, picking up a text book and beginning to read from it, the reducto spell sounding like one she might like to try.

"Hello Leshia, Salina." she said quietly, before reading more of the text book "Thank you for getting these books for us to read Salina, I like the sound of these spells, they should be interesting to learn for sure."

Airen walked calmly into the meeting. He was glad that they were having another. Things were kind of slow around Hogwarts, and he was getting bored.

"Salve (hello), everybody," he greeted warmly.

"Hey, Charlotte," he said as he sat next to her. He listened to Salina's instructions and read his own textbook. He memorized the wand movements in his mind. He smiled at Charlotte once he finished reading.
